Samilktray Posted 20 July 2011 Posted 20 July 2011 A disgrace to music, and talentless. I dont even know what to say about such daft comments.
The Doctor Posted 20 July 2011 Posted 20 July 2011 Personally I don't like Adele that much but I respect how incredibly talented she is, especially in today's climate of mass produced trash. This is downright insulting and I doubt you could even come close to having 10% of the talent she does. If he can sing without sounding like someones beating the crap out a cat with a frying pan then he's more talented than adele. As for the other points: - Transformers, never watched them. - Reality TV, waste of channel schedule time, I prefer watching the likes of scrubs, two & a half men, fraiser, becker, inbetweeners, south-park, peep show & panel shows like mtw, would i lie to you, QI etc.. - Dan Brown books - average.

ajthefox Posted 20 July 2011 Posted 20 July 2011 Adele is a fvcking disgrace to music. Says the poster with Pitbull as an avatar...
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 20 July 2011 Posted 20 July 2011 I think i'm the only person in the world who hasn't seen any of the Harry Potter films. Also not seen any of the Pirates of the Carrabian, Lord of the Rings, Twilight, Star Trek, Star Wars and pretty much any of the big name move franchises except for Mighty ducks and Back to the Future.

I've seen two harry potters because we literally had to in high school but apart from that nothing, same with each of the franchises you mentioned.
Charl91 Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 No Lord of the Rings or Star Wars? Im shocked and appalled.
Fox92 Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 You can't mention some of the best comedies of all time and try to claim you have a different sense of humour to most people With the exception of My Family.. I know My Family isn't that funny anymore, but I'm a big fan of Robert Lindsay. Anything he's in I most probably will watch. Last weeks episode was funny though, and in my opinion the funniest in a long time.
MikeyT Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Blasphemy! Agreed, although the new Star Wars movies were awful.
MrSpaM Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Adele's voice is good for one thing, and one thing only. Drum and Bass remixes
lcfcadam Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 I think i'm the only person in the world who hasn't seen any of the Harry Potter films. Star Trek is hardly a "big movie franchise". Agree on Pirates, Lord of the Rings (possibly the most boring set of films I've ever been unfortunate enough to watch) and Twilight (except for much ogling of Xavier Samuel on the net... ). Star Wars on the other hand, well the first three were stonewall classics and the rest are pretty entertaining... Harry Potter? Well sometimes you just have to join in with the rest of the herd - and they're a good time-waster to be fair...
purpleronnie Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 I've never purchased a mobile phone. I don't have a facebook/myspace page I don't follow anyone on twitter. Who's with me?
dave the caveman Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Personally I don't like Adele that much but I respect how incredibly talented she is, especially in today's climate of mass produced trash. This is downright insulting and I doubt you could even come close to having 10% of the talent she does. I don't know. I've never heard Adele do whatever Adele does. I actually just assumed she was on the same level as the other things the op mentioned: Dan Brown, Transformers and reality TV. I thought she was just another good looking person who can sing other people's songs quite well on top of music produced entirely by other people. But I could be wrong, and maybe she really is very 'talented'. Sorry if I've offended any other members of the fanclub.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 21 July 2011 Author Posted 21 July 2011 I'd just like to say after all this, I'm quite happy not being normal. Couldn't live with that. How do people do it? Cope with being normal I mean.

I think you're pretty fucking bog standard really. Sorry to disappoint you. Some people don't like reality TV, SHOCK HORROR!

Bellend Sebastian Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 I'm not that familiar with Adele. Is she like The Fall? I think she did something with Paul Weller, so that's a black mark for starters
Corky Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Roo, you aren't the only one. Never got into the Harry Potter craze. Same with Pokemon. You tried to get involved but people didn't want to swap them for Panini stickers of Premier League players from the late-90's.
purpleronnie Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 I'm not that familiar with Adele. Is she like The Fall? I think she did something with Paul Weller, so that's a black mark for starters Ooo wasnt aware, she's gone up in my estimations. Thanfully she doesn't seem to be featured on his critically acclaimed albums.
Narborough_fox Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 I'm weird; Thought part 2 of the Deathly Hallows was the worst Harry Potter of the lot
Bellend Sebastian Posted 21 July 2011 Posted 21 July 2011 Ooo wasnt aware, she's gone up in my estimations. Thanfully she doesn't seem to be featured on his critically acclaimed albums. I think it was some sort of Radio 1 session, may have been just the one song, I've no idea. I didn't murder anyone as a result of hearing it
