escos Posted 1 August 2011 Posted 1 August 2011 We should buy Maynard and Keanes it would make economic sense The words "economic sense" and "Maynard" should never be seen in the same sentence as they just don't go together!
surrifox Posted 1 August 2011 Posted 1 August 2011 We should buy Maynard and Keanes it would make economic sense well I saw what you did there
shirt10 Posted 1 August 2011 Posted 1 August 2011 The words "economic sense" and "Maynard" should never be seen in the same sentence as they just don't go together! Sometimes the 'missing the joke' is better than the joke itself Although to be fair I think it was a tie here.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 1 August 2011 Posted 1 August 2011 We should buy Maynard and Keanes it would make economic sense Especially when we've got Beckham feeding them.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 1 August 2011 Posted 1 August 2011 Robbie Keane is an ignorant dwarf. I hate him. Oh he's brilliant
Guest Col city fan Posted 1 August 2011 Posted 1 August 2011 We should buy Maynard and Keanes it would make economic sense Yeah it's all supply and demand though ain't it...
Bettsy82 Posted 1 August 2011 Posted 1 August 2011 keane would tear this league up ! cmon sven make it happen.
MikeyT Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 C'mon Robbie, come to Leicester, you know it makes sense.
Happy Fox Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 I would take him he has vast experience in the Prem, scores goals, pretty sure he would get 20 goals plus at this level
absolutelegend Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 If Keane was still any good wouldn't WHU want to keep him?
Guest Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 If Keane was still any good wouldn't WHU want to keep him? If he was any good he'd be in the first team picture.
Guest Bilo Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 If Keane was still any good wouldn't WHU want to keep him? Apparently they had an agreement lined up if they stayed up to sign him on a two year deal. Money might be the answer.
foxes2011 Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 no ones got the money for him in the championship, to expensive
Isopen Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 Still reckon the owners would ideally like a big name & of the current list of strikers being linked, Keane's is probably the best known
paddy Agyemang Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 Getting old and prefer to buy someone who will play for the club
m00nie Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 Getting old and prefer to buy someone who will play for the club we wouldnt buy anyone to not play for us now would we... or you trying to hint at comitment? how many players do you think really come here just because its leicester and nothing to do with the contract and money ?? hes 4 years younger than steve howard btw.. been in the premier league for years, 100+ international caps with a 1 in 2 ratio there. hes got the experience and skill still to get the 20 + goals and get us promoted THIS season..
BlooArmeh! Posted 2 August 2011 Posted 2 August 2011 His goal to game ratio is undeniably good, and has a wealth of experience in the premier league along with experience internationally. My only problem is his recent form, his wages, his commitmant to club (there is nothing to suggest there is anything wrong with it, but I personally don't see him being committed to a 'lower league' club) and finally, probably least important as I know we have older players, but his age is a concern. - obviously this depends on the price we pay, but I think these are factors we should consider... But as I said, he HAS proven he IS quality, but I'm not sure whether he'd manage to maintain throughout a 46 game season.
Garysbrokentoe Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Getting old and prefer to buy someone who will play for the club agreed
Happy Fox Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 http://spurscommunity.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=76857 Who: eduardosmartez When: 03/08/11 Where: FTL Quote: BRFC are one of my customers and deal with people quite high up in the IT dept there Told me we've offered £5m plus Hutton & Keane for Samba No idea if they're entertaining the thought or if it's been rejected On a seperate note was told a rumour of Leicester putting an offer in for Keane this morning dont know if it meets valuation, if it's a loan deal or if he's even interested in going either way.
Tielemans63 Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Eurosport reckon Spurs have offered cash plus Bentley OR Keane. So let's hope they go for their old boy. I can't understand why people think Keane wouldn't be that committed because he's getting on a wee bit. Why would he be any less committed than Shane Long? I'm sure neither dreamt of playing for City when they were growing up!
