FoxesAreBlue Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 there have been tweets/rumours all afternoon about trouble in Leicester, I work in the centre and it's been very calm all day - nothing. Can't speak for tonight of course but there have definitely been a load of rubbish on twitter all day which is completely untrue. Same here, all the girls getting worried asking if it will kick off - not likely
Dr The Singh Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 There's been a few mini riots happening in birmingham,, west brom, the locals have faught back and rove them away. The police and ambulance, fire brigade were low to respond!!
Stevosevic Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Heard a woman on the Radio from Croydon earlier 'We're rioting to show the rich people we can do what we want'. 'The rich people own all the businesses' Words escape me. Those views have been established because of the government...
I am Rod Hull Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Derby will be next... Derby 0-3 Shrewsbury at half time...

purpleronnie Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 How dare they? White people, usually described as thuggish, racist people, protecting their own areas, belongings, properties, and not rolling over and letting people destroy them? Bastard, Racist's, How very dare they stand up, They best not start a fight if the rioters turn up cos I know who'll be in the wrong, and i'm not putting my money on the rioters (Black or White or whoever they are), Just the fact they are involved with Millwall and the EDL for starters. Protecting 'their' neighbourhood or looking for a fight? mmmmm
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Millwall Fans and Members of the EDL (same thing) massing in Eltham to 'Defend' it. Oh dear http://twitpic.com/63jgv6 Fair play for standing up to the twats, I say.
CupidStunt Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Millwall and Charlton guarding their turf http://casualsunited.wordpress.com/2011/08/09/well-done-millwall-and-charlton-lads-on-defending-your-community/
Guest lcfc80 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Protecting 'their' neighbourhood or looking for a fight? mmmmm you havent a clue, they are Eltham people that most happen to support Millwall and the odd one supporting the EDL. Theres a load of Sikhs doing the same thing in Southall as we speak but i suppose thats different
Jackirius Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Shop owners in Clapham out on the streets fighting back.

Guest MattP Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Only in England in 2011 could a loads of white people standing up to defend their community be described as a group of racists. Pathetic.
Phube Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Tweet from Police: gmpolice GM Police:Captured lots of criminals on CCTV - we will identify you and we will be coming for you Let us hope they succeed!
Guest MattP Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Protecting 'their' neighbourhood or looking for a fight? mmmmm
21st Century Fox Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 From the BBC... "It's not just youths, there was actually a family drove up in a car and filled up their boot with stuff from Lidl and drove off." Seriously!!!
Zingari Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Protecting 'their' neighbourhood or looking for a fight? mmmmm it seems that their neighbourhood is actually under threat and the police don't seem to be fully equipped to deal with it the turkish community has been roundly applauded for doing pretty much the same thing i do see that there may be an element spoiling for a rumble though
21st Century Fox Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 Only in England in 2011 could a loads of white people standing up to defend their community be described as a group of racists. Pathetic. If prefixed with EDL then yes. If you identify yourself with them then 'boo hoo' you're going to get tarred with the "looking for a fight" mentality. If its regular shop owners and people in that community then fine, good luck to them.

Group of white people do it = racists.

It's a load of blokes from a pub, a lot of people have seen a mass group of white people and automatically decided its "EDL". I don;t think the term Irony is big enough to cover it.

Its Eltham locals that most happen to suuport Millwall and the odd one is a EDL supporter
CupidStunt Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 This is the photo claimed to be leicester somewhere, cant picture it meself? maybe someone else will personally i think its somewhere else?
BlueSi13 Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 God bless any of our country men and women out on the streets tonight defending their homes and their communities. We need more of this, not less. Let these bastards know that they are alone and will be crushed if not by the Police, then by the people they thought they could intimidate. I have come to the conclusion that these looters need to be bled before these troubles subside....if they aren't....there is nothing to stop them doing this again in a months time after the furore has died down. Make them FEAR the consequences.
Koke Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 That awkward moment when your cousin in Somalia sends you a FB message and asks you if you are safe.

You'd be pretty dam fearful and angry too. Then what would you do if someone from outside where this happening tells you your a racist because your white, angry, and ready to kick some ****ing arse?
Guest MattP Posted 9 August 2011 Posted 9 August 2011 That awkward moment when your cousin in Somalia sends you a FB message and asks you if you are safe. Gotta say the community stuff is really heartwarming, showing 70-80 in Enfield now protecting the area on sky. You know people are scum when Charlton and Millwall come together protect agaisnt them.
