Matt Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 There was only going to be one player nailed on to score for WBA today wasn't there....
MikeyT Posted 14 August 2011 Author Posted 14 August 2011 Shane Long scores on his debut against Man United. 1-1
Leicester_Loyal Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Debut goal for Long. Pleased for the lad.
Guest shearfox Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 What a waste of money De Gea is, how did that go in? Weale would have stopped that...
leicesterisme Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 What a waste of money De Gea is, how did that go in? Weale would have stopped that... Just a slight overreaction, it's one game...
Sly Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 De Gea had a terrible shot save % from outside the box in la liga last year. He's Tiabi Mark II just a lot more money!!
MikeyT Posted 14 August 2011 Author Posted 14 August 2011 For a change, Man United score late in a game to take the lead. 1-2. Final score.
Super_horns Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 To think we almost let Young go as a youngster due to lacking physically.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Glad I didnt have money on a draw now like I peviously thought like doing.
accessory Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Good start by United, especially as they finished the game without their entire first-choice back four. Indeed Rafael and Ferdinand look like being out for some time. Rooney and Young combined well and I hope they can continue that form for England. Tom Cleverley showed why he was worth a starting place ahead of Michael Carrick. The baggies looked pretty decent too and I wouldn't be surprised to see Hodgson take them to a top-10 finish this season. Shane Long had an encouraging debut and should settle well there.
Bert Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 You knew they would nick it. I wasn't so sure. They'll take some beating this year.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Man Utd are already two points ahead of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal
Bert Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Just a slight overreaction, it's one game... What about last weeks howler? Man Utd are already two points ahead of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal 3 clear of Man City too.
