I think most of what Neville said made sense, he wasn't too hot on the technological side of things, and his voice is grinding, but I think he'll grow on me

Heard worse. Andy Townsend springs to mind.

Well yes, but that's not to say these guys are good? I think with both Townsend and Alan Smith their punditry is too reactionary - the best pundits get their coments in before something happens.

Like Andy Grays famous "he's got noooo right shooting from there!"?

Edit. Forgot "take a bow".

Kun Agüero with a dream debut.

Second goal after coming on as a substitute.

Great strike, as well. Don't see a lot of those from distance these days.

Now they can sell Tevez with a clear conscience and make a huge profit on top of it.

Welcome to the Premier League Mr. Aguero.

Looks quality!! 2 goals and 1 assist. Not bad for 30 minutes work.

Got Aguero, Kompany and Silva in my Fantasy Football :D

That makes up for my terrible score at the start

Posted

Torres 50m : 1 in 18

Aguero 38m : 2 in 1

Both not cheap, both exceptional talents but after seeing that I know which one I'd take, however things can change

Aguero seems to have the Tevez workrate too, so if he does go I doubt he'll be missed too badly.

I like the look of Swansea's keeper, who can go away with his head held high.

Can't they all? Worked very hard and played it around very nicely at times.

Just seen the highlights, ridiculous debut for Aguero.

Top marks to Swansea's keeper, some brilliant saves and never deserved to have 4 stuck past him.

Also, Swansea's keeper looks pretty good.

I thought this, great buy if you go on that match. The save from Yaya Toure's free kick was great. Looks like he has strong hands.

Aguero's second goal, unreal. And his assist for David Silva, unreal. How many players would have given that up? Many.

Everyone will talk about Aguero and rightly so, but Dzeko looked like a different player having had a full pre season, really impressive.

I also quite like Gary Neville.

I thought that aswell, looked surprisingly sharp.

Yeah they could, it's just that the keeper is new to the English game and is replacing a good keeper in De Vries and acquitted himself very well.

Swansea stuck to their principles and should do well at home.

Sounds like Arsenal are falling apart at Anfield

Hope Wenger doesn't get forced out

It's at the Emirates.

Wenger will go this year, pushed or not I don't know but I just feel he won't be there next season.

Get in there Liverpool!!!

Arsenal 0 - 2 Liverpool.

But it would be a shame if he did leave, who could come in and keep their style going?

First loss to Liverpool at the Emirates ever, first home loss to Liverpool in some ten years.

First home loss at the start of the season for ten years, as well.

And then the boos... Hahahahahaha.

Yeah it would be a shame, i'd miss him throwing his toys out the pram, his hissy fits and hearing how he feels hard done by.
