But that hasn't stopped the teams around them paying an utter fortune in wages and transfer fees to achieve success. Which makes this years Premier League lack of quality all the more baffling. But when you consider that Newcastle United were in the Championship a couple of years ago, for me it would make it an almost unrivalled achievement. Plus it gives hope to middle-of-the-road Championship clubs like ourselves
