leicesterisme Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Mancini lost them this game for me with his team selection and decisions throughout the game.
Corky Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 At least Gary Neville picks the right circuses to attend.
MC Prussian Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Thanks Manchester City for keeping it tight for so long. And here I am, thinking you could've edged your local rivals for the title. The fool I am.
Tom17LCFC Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 I hated Neville while he was a player, but I love him now. Some of his remarks under his breath are hilarious.
ScouseFox Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Caught the last five minutes. Was decent. Balotelli is a bit silly.
purpleronnie Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Uniteds title now surely?. City haven't looked champions for a long time, they just aren't good enough away from home.
Fox92 Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Mason with a ridiculous decision yet again. He always gives stupid and wrong penalty decisions. I've never forgot him from Sheffield United away when we lost 4-1 and he gave two penalties. How he is a top flight referee I'll never know.
Jaspa Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 The title race changed the moment Kompany was sent off in the FA cup I f***ing hate ManU and their big bollocks bullsh** fans, I can only imagine the level of t**tedness across the country in schools & workplaces on Tuesday. Im not specificly a ManC fan or owt . . . . Just would have about anyone above United. Bet the bookies made an absolute mint this year
BlueSi13 Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 Will this Manchester United side be the worse ever side to win the Premier League? Without a doubt for me! What a capitulation from the blue half! £400+ million and with just a single FA Cup to show for it, surely the owners will wield the axe in the summer.
Finchy Posted 8 April 2012 Posted 8 April 2012 The plastic United fans have been particularly annoying this season, their hatred for Man City is hilarious. Most of them have never encountered anyone from Manchester never mind a City fan, how they can despise them so much is beyond me. I work with one from Wolverhampton, his last game was 2 years ago and I think that is his only game but he still insists on referring to United as 'we' and 'us,' that really annoys me. I could just decide to support Barcelona, go to a game or two and i'd be more of a fan than him.
MC Prussian Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Mario Balotelli is a bit of a knobhead. Tackling Song that high up, potentially risking a premature end of a promising footballing career. Just sayin'.

Your colleague's home town club are in the PL! What's wrong with him? You're right about Barcelona. I'd ask him if he's going to start supporting Man City when they win the league, which will probably happen in the next year or two. Why not just support whichever team had the best result each weekend? Might as well. Man Utd's success can't last forever, can it? I expect them to slide a bit when SAF finally retires, and I can't wait. It'll be great to see how many plastics they shed when they haven't won the league for a couple of seasons.

Wouldnt finish top 2 in Spain or Italy and probably wouldnt win the German or French either.

If the experience of Liverpool is anything to go by, not that many..
StanSP Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Serious question to all of you - despite only signing in January, can Papiss Cisse be a contender for signing of the season? I know there are other contenders - Michael Vorm and Demba Ba to name a couple - but Cisse has fired Newcastle to challenging for 4th place (as much as that has been down to Pardew as well, mind).

Clearly a great signing but you can't really say Cisse has fired them towards 4th, Ba has done more than Cisse to get them in this position.

Suppose, could have phrased it a bit better. He's helped immensely to maintain their push, especially as Ba stopped scoring as soon as Cisse arrived.

I may be wrong but I think Ba has been pushed out wide to make way for Cisse, which is why he's not really scoring but one thing is for sure, the two best signings this season have been made by Newcastle.
Corky Posted 9 April 2012 Posted 9 April 2012 Spurs choking at the wrong time. If Chelsea beat Fulham three teams will be on 59 points.
