It says a lot about the standard of English football that the worst United side in at least a decade are prob going to win the league.

You have to hand it to them though, their self-belief and will to win is amazing.

Makes you question why Man City have fallen behind.

No team who has won 15 out of 15 at home should be second.

Probably their away record I reckon.

Worst Premier League I've seen, when out top sides are being turned over by 7-10th place sides in Italy and Spain you know something is wrong.

I reckon the pressure got to them. I'd be surprised if Man City win the title now, but it's only a matter of time before they start finishing above United.

Maybe. Another £100 million on players in the summer, and a new manager, and perhaps it will happen next season.

The demise of British football is down to money spending teams like man city and chelsea, why would anyone want them to win the league?

Atleast united have bought through some good British talent this year and over the years. Look at cleverly. United also helped to make young a better player and their are a few more on their way through atm.

English players in man city team? Two maybe 3? How many young players coming through the ranks? None. How many English players rotting in their reserves only getting handfuls of first tram appearances. Too many!

I hate man city and chelsea they are ruining the football in this country.

Rubbish!

I think it's brilliant for the game when a club who hasn't been competing for the PL title in years suddenly becomes rich. It makes the league more competitive, and it makes the PL less like the SPL with just two teams winning it every single year. I was well chuffed when Chelsea first won the title since Abramovic took over. It was great to see Man Utd and Arsenal both fail to win the title at last. Now, I'm looking forward to seeing Man City win the title to shake things up further.

I just don't know why you think it's a bad thing for there to be as many clubs as possible all in with a decent chance of winning the league. It makes the league much healthier than if there's only one or two dominant clubs destroying their competition every season without fail, like in Scotland.

As for bringing through English players, Man City and Chelsea are far from the worst offenders. English players in Man City team - Hart, Johnson, Richards, Barry, Lescott and Milner. How is that 2 maybe 3? I could understand you having a go at Arsenal for this, although they're not quite as bad as they were. Besides, I'm sure you'd find Man City and Chelsea spend a lot more than most clubs on developing young English players, simply for the fact that they can afford to. The owners of these two clubs are bringing an immense amount of money to English football, and that can't be a bad thing, surely? I'm having a hard time working out how you could see English clubs becoming incredibly wealthy as "the demise of British football".

I like Man City and I hope they win the PL title soon. I think it's great that there's now a big 5 or 6 clubs in the country, rather than a big 4. I hope that number continues to rise.

Yeah, I agree. The Premier League is overrated, it isn't the best in the World as Sky always say. Three teams compete each year.

What Brian Clough achieved with Forest when he won promotion and then won the first division (Premier League) will never be achieved again.

Villa are not quite safe yet.

With yesterday's results and the bad vibes from Petrov's illness, their fans must be VERY nervous, especially given McLeish's record across the city last year.

Cisse, again. Boss header.

Carroll is a donkey. In fact that's harsh on most donkeys.
