A premier league club will only offer a couple of million for him because they have the lure of the premiership and probably higher wages, which will be of no benifit to bristol city

Confirmation that the rumour he's turned us down is BS. I'm happy to wait and see, but the doom and gloom merchants start off at the slightest sign of some bad news and its bloody annoying. Vague rumour he's turned us down = We're doomed, we won't sign a striker, Sven's desperate, he doesn't know what he's doing, etc.....

Don't get this view at all. Why on earth would Maynard say either way about what he wanted before Bristol have accepted a bid. Its not in his best interests to be siding with anyone right now, until Bristol have decided they're happy to sell him.
