m00nie Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 When will they get it right its a perm deal not a loan!!! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2031196/Martyn-Waghorn-join-Hull-City-loan.html?ito=feeds-newsxml daily mail got it right??
StarFox Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 daily mail got it right?? I was thinking the same thing. They may deserve an apology. Hehe
Liamlcfc1 Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 daily mail got it right?? From what i was told it was a Prem maybe something changed when Nugent got injured so they can re call him
StarFox Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 From what i was told it was a Prem maybe something changed when Nugent got injured so they can re call him I'm only kidding with you Liam. Keep doing what your doing
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 From what i was told it was a Prem maybe something changed when Nugent got injured so they can re call him But that doesn't make sense because you can not recall a plyer for the first 28 days anyway. Perhaps Hull want to make sure he can get back to a level he was at before buying him.
21st Century Fox Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 So Papa Pearson gets another of his boys back....
marko Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 So Papa Pearson gets another of his boys back.... That's eerily realistic!!!
21st Century Fox Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 That's eerily realistic!!! I took a wide angle lens down to the KC Stadium, shhhhhhhhh.
topharry123 Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 So Papa Pearson gets another of his boys back.... That pic kind of looks like some of the people you see in the small little towns out here in Texas !
Tuna Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 Waggy should stay and grow here. Maybe a loan will make him a better player. But he's a twat if he thinks he has a divine right to be a first choice, Sven has given him enough chances and he has repeatedly failed. We really overpaid for Waggy and he needs to produce but he's only 21, I hope we don't give up on him altogether. Sven has ****ed up by getting ridd of Hobbs, Fryatt and even loans out the Tunch. Sort the **** out Sven can't spot a good player.

Leo14 Posted 29 August 2011 Posted 29 August 2011 Firstly, i would like to say this thread is terrible . The fact some of you people call yourselves loyal Leicester fans is a joke! Waggy has been nothing but hard working and loyal to this club. For those who think he is a Sunderland supporter and doesnt want to be here, get your facts right, hes supported Man U all his life- since he was there as a junior!. Next, the slating he has got for his ability. The one answer to that is Sven. This clown has done nothing but sideline all the young prospects, for big name 'money' signings who can give him quick success and his massive bonus at the end. He does not care for the young players, thier nuturing or care, he is in and out and desperate to keep his name as a reputable' manager' of some sort. The fact that Nigel Pearson is having to take all of the best players from Leicesters play off season says something. Sven is destroying the morale, confidence and future of all of the young players who were in the play offs. Waggy got us there and thats why he got young player of the season. Hobbs got player of the season and Fryatt one of leicesters top scorers- wheres he - Hull? Says alot really. That Nigel is having to tidy up Svens poor work and get back the confident players that got Leicester to the play offs.Wont be surprised if King heads there soon either as Svens started benching him( Last seasons player of the year?)Hmmm pattern here? Someone saying Waggy should go to Charlton taking the piss? And yes he did score there on loan(for the person who said he never)!! Waggy deserves to be with a good english manager at a good club who understands he is a STRIKER not a WINGER! who can see his raw passion for a team and his SKILL and make him the player he knows he can be- a top one! For all you out there saying hes touch is shit and he is an average player, you only have to look at his football history since the age of 8 at Man U,making his debut against Man u at 17, getting sold for £3 million at 20. Why is that? Oh yea cos hes league 1 standard shit. Yous lot clearly cannot see through your Sven rose tinted glasses. Sven is going to ruin the club and walk away with a bonus and not give 2 shits about the state of the club he has left behind. You people that turn on players instead of the manager have got it all wrong. How can a full team of players not perform, yet they get blamed? is it not down to the poor managerial, poor motivational and poor guidance of a has been england flop manager? I really hope Waggy goes to Hull on loan or permanent, thrives under Pearson ( Again!) and doesnt return to this club! The loyalty is disgusting and is shown at games when the chanting and support for the team stops as soon as thier on a losing turn. Perhaps you lot who call yourselves true fans could take some of the blame for Waggys poor performance of late? Your lack of support, slating at every opportunity ( disabled car parking- pathetic) and just absolute fickleness would make any player think twice about showing the passion he did at the play offs.He is a young lad at 21, and yea so he maybe has been off lately at games. But would you not be? You havent been given one chance by a manager who clearly from the word go is not intrested, you work hard every day in training just to be told another signing is coming in, and then when you do get the odd 10-20 mins on the pitch in the wrong position (only because their losing) do you feel totally unwanted by the 'loyal' fans who slate you on the forum. And you wonder why he smashes it into the crowd? The sheer frustration of people shouting shoot shoot shoot, just so they can claim a goal for there team and not care less about ripping you to shreds when you do one thing wrong later on here. For people who think footballers dont care because there on big wages and have good lives - your wrong. These are still young people who want to achieve thier dreams and thank fully for Waggy other good managers can see that - Stuart Pearce being one!! Good luck to you Waggy, ignore every bad comment you read on hear because negative comments are worth nothing. Critique- fair enough, but the down right slating on here is disgusting. Its embarrasing some of you call your selves 'True Blues' - Laughable. Fingers crossed ths time next year, Waggy will be a big name, a young England 21 prospect and this season at Leicester will be nothing but a bad distant memory for him! He is a good lad, a brilliant young prospect and deserves better than this!

Fox1651 Posted 30 August 2011 Posted 30 August 2011 good luck waggy - you will be missed by quite a few City fans This i like Waggy and will miss him if he goes
leicester4life Posted 30 August 2011 Posted 30 August 2011 i <3 waggy, bring back fryatt, hobbs is next england captain ect ect. disabled. Waghorn we massively overpayed for, has the desire, but lacks the technical ability to actually strike a football with any accuracy.

MGLCFC Posted 30 August 2011 Posted 30 August 2011 If anyone can explain to me why Waghorn is a good striker I'd love to be convinced. When he came to Leicester he had a decent season playing off Howard. He showed good pace and a raw talent that everyone hoped could be enhanced. He then returned to Sunderland before being signed in a panic buy to appease fans after a disasterous start under Sousa. However, the £2mil fee upfront raising to £3mil was grossly overpriced and Steve Bruce couldn't get the deal done quick enough. Since then he has regressed, yes he may have played out wide, not his preferred position, but his contribution to the team is limited. His delivery from dead ball situations is aweful, he has no composure when shooting, he prats around in warm trying to hit the cross bar or break the net (then often hits someone in Row Z) and to me he looks muscle bound and unable to run properly. I like Martyn Waghorn and wish him well, but I think his level maybe League 1.
Yojoe36 Posted 30 August 2011 Posted 30 August 2011 I've always been a bit skeptical about loaning players to other clubs in the same league. I suppose Hull isn't the biggest threat, but... I guess Waghorn needs to get regular 1st team football at championship level, to get his career going again.
edd Posted 30 August 2011 Posted 30 August 2011 IMO Waghorn was always going to fall down the pecking order this season. And then with Schlupp bursting onto the seen he was never going to get a chance. He gave everything he could for Leicester City and i am grateful for that however he was never quite good enough in my eyes. He needed to move on to get some game time as thats what a player of his age really needs. Good luck at Hull Martyn and thanks for the effort you put in for LCFC http://first4lcfc.blogspot.com/2011/08/waghorn-to-team-up-with-former-mentor.html

Sven doesnt care about young players, well whats schlupp? Adam Smith has also been brought into being around the first team since Sven has arrived so that makes that invalid straight away... Jack Hobbs wasnt playing at all well and wasnt making the right impression, and as for fryatt, this is a man who when managed by someone other than Pearson has a goal scoring record of 1 in 7... If its bad people have an opinion that one player isnt good enough and get critical about him and that makes them bad fans, well u should be embarressed of being a city fan seeing as you have just openly slagged off the manager.
