Forest Post Match

Match facts :

Shots on target: Forest 6 Us 4

Add to this Derbyshire missing from inside the 6 yard box with the goal at his mercy

Possession 50% each

Our 2 goals came from them fannying about in their own final third

Forest are a poor side full stop

Whilst we might consider ourselves of robbed of 3 points the match statistics say otherwise - I fear Southampton big time

The light at the end of the tunnel is a train coming the other way

Can we just shut up about Forest and move on now? We were the better side, if you couldn't see that then you're deluded. Stats don't tell the whole story.

All the Forest shots on target came well into the second half, when we started to sit back.

All the non-Yobbish Forest fans had actually apologised for snatching a point. Some were extrememly complimentary over our performance and more concerned.

We're at home, we're brimming with confidence after a good performance.

Anyone can beat anyone in this league.

We've got 42 games left. Chill the fox out.

Even the yobbish fans seemed very complimentary about our performance, Although he looked like he had drunk have of the Trent ( if it was alcohol). He said that Forest were shit and that we would definetley be up there this season.

However, his opening line to me when walking outside the ground after the game was - "make yourself at home there are loads of pakis, indians, afghans and all sorts, take your pick"

I've heard a rumour that some Forest fans took a dead fox into the ground on Saturday?

Just shows what scumbags they really are if true.

Ivan Gaskell tweeted about a dead fox being found in the Brian Clough Stand before the game!

Are the club appealing against the ref's decisions.?

No. There is no procedure to appeal against a red card given for two yellow cards. The club put in their post match report about the referee's performance and hope against hope that the referee reviews (or is asked to review) his decision and decides to withdraw one or both yellow cards.

If the club haven't massively ripped the crap out of the ref in their report they should be ashamed.

What the ****. How can you blame him you idiot the guys come on to play his first bit of football all season and you're blaming him. Schmeichel is to blame here or the referee. ****ing sick of people on these forums pointing the finger. ****ing lucky Weale has stuck around the way he has been treated!

spur of the moment thing agree but he was to blame for the cross,he trains all week, played for long enough to know what position he should be in,what was his excuse last year, yeah looking at the lowlights penalty very harsh, schmeichel stupidity, but your rant calling me an idiot for MY opinion ,i very rarely slag players off ,have a think before you start giving the large one,im alot of things, being an idiot isnt one of them.FT members feel free to correct this statement.

Heard on the phone-in that some kid who couldn't see because of people stood was standing in the aisle and when we scored the second a few people rushed down the stairs in celebration and he got caught up in it. Apparently he was 10 and had a sprained ankle as a result.

I know it might not have been possible to have envisaged that happening but if people are stood why don't parents with kids make their way to the front and ask to swap with someone there? I would happily do so if I was sat at the front.

Failing that, stand on the seat. I did that as a kid when I couldn't see. When the south stand used to stand as we attacked at Filbert Street I'd constantly be hopping on and off my seat!
