Forest Post Match

I went to Nottingham once. I was threatened by a man with wet-look hair

He just hadn't washed it for a while.

Unable to afford L'Oreal.

Because you're worthless.

ok i've chilled out abit now and IMO although today i feel we were robbed , there are some big postives to take from that game.

1. Shows the team is starting to gel, i'd say we're 75% there.

2. defending looked alot better, not looking like letting one in every opposition attack.

Also think we could use todays result to create a seige mentality in the club and build on today performance . Before this match i had lost alot of hope for this season but today's first half as shown that we do have to quality to be near to the top .

I would also like to had my opinion on forest to, if i were them i'd be worried. We're not the only team that needs to gel and on todays performance it's going to take them alot longer to gel than us. Im happy they all celebrating because those last 16 minutes have masked 79 minutes of looking a poor team. And if tey carry on like today imo mid table will be a massive achievement.

Yes. He just gave the ref an earful of abuse for giving the penalty, and then he deliberately throws the ball away from two Forrest players running towards him to take it. The ref was going to give a yellow card all day long. And as it's bad sportsmanship to kick the ball into the stand, so if impeding the opposition to collect or retrieve the ball.

I didn't want him sent off. The ref seemed adamant to change the game up for whatever reason he had.

I knew if Weale came on we'd be in trouble.

This is where we disagree (now there's a shock)

Is throwing the ball back to where the game will be restarted impeding access?

I think you're right though to say that kasper fell straight into the refs trap of giving him something to book him for.. Having been mouthed off at, the ref was seeking retribution. And kasper should have kept his cool

If he let's off steam too much he'll become a liability.

Unfortunately Weale seems to have become a somewhat broken man in goal. A better sub keeper may be needed

Agree with this, we aren't far away now in spite of two poor performances.

In terms of Forest struggling to gel though, they haven't signed that many players. So maybe it's just because they aren't very good?

100%? - come on - even if he hadn't been on a yellow, many refs wouldn't have batted an eyelid at that - it ended up pretty close to the centre circle, if it had gone in the stands fair enough. if refs want respect then they have to know when to tolerate a frustrated throw up field and when to send a player off.

I am fully agreeing with you! It is terrible....

Maybe you should look at where he threw it and reevaluate whether it was to the centre of the pitch or to the opposition.

He didn't. He threw it with venom out to the left of his goal where there were no Florists players.

The referee saw this as further dissent, and booked him.

Stowell is pretty pissed off...

Been avoiding this place until now still seething and don't want to get into trouble and give certain people the satisfaction of getting the better of us ! People wonder why we get so upset and irate but you only have to look at the 2 major incidents again and realise that they need to be better and have help , and as a result it cost us dear , it's got nothing to do with luck , this will make us stronger as a group and we will come out the other side better for it , I might have calmed down a little by motd !! Time for wine , great support today #lcfc

He did 4 tweets but that's them all together

And...

We are in a results based business and I would have taken 3 points ahead of performance, but I was proud of lads today #commitment

It was never a penalty.

Weale :nono:

Absolutely gutted.

Still, we came away with a point that most us didn't expect to get.

We played some fantastic stuff up to 60minutes and there is lots of promise there.

I'm still a bit shell-shocked, but I'm very optimistic after that first half performance. If we carry on improving at this rate, some poor team's gonna get a right thumping pretty soon.

I'd like to congratulate every Foxes fan who went to the shitty ground today. You outsang the F*rest support through most of the match and did our club proud. If only there were more like you for home matches.

I really think the players are much more comfortable away from home at the moment. There's far too much pressure on them at the KP. We've all got to get behind the team at home and create a better atmosphere if we want to see them play to their best. I know people are entitled to express their frustration, but it cannot be helpful to get on the players' backs when things aren't going well.

So pissed off again after leaving the City Ground. First time because we didn't turn up, second was when we should've had a point and today when we should have all three.

So comfortable for the majority of the game, passing the ball better and moving into space. Forest created virtually nothing of note. Then the penalty, and the red card. Was the ref having a laugh? If Schmeichel really wanted to waste time he would've booted the ball into the river, as it was he threw it towards the halfway line (which remarkably is where the ball is supposed to go after a goal) and gets a second yellow. I couldn't believe it.

The equaliser was always going to come, you just knew it. We should have the three points against a Forest side who were as toothless up front as we've been in our home games (and whose fans, on the way out, seemed very happy with a point against ten men. Who's "cup final" is it supposed to be?) but we haven't.

Nugent going off was a telling factor, Gallagher has nowhere near the same impact and was too easily beaten to the ball. We played better but that's no consolation now, even though I expected us to lose beforehand.

Much better performance overall, but why Gallagher? He's a useful player when we are dominating the game and winning free kicks, creating play etc...

But not when we need to defend a lead... Again this makes no sense. I hope I can have this view because, of course, im not a part of the dressing room...no sod it, I'll have it anyway...

I'm pretty sure I have seen you along with the likes of Thracian etc moan about Sven trying to defend leads previously by bringing on more defensive minded players, now he brings on an attack minded player to try and continue taking the game to them and he's being blamed for doing that.

I didn't think we sat back today at all, indeed we had opportunities to get into dangerous areas in the second half.
