He looked good before today but one bad performance and people want him axed. Give him and the rest of the squad a break. We did ourselves proud today.

I swear we could win 6-0 and certain posters would say 'yeah but so and so gave away that pointless throw-in in the 87th minute' etc etc. It must be something lacking in their lives that they have to have something to vent anger and frustration at on a Saturday night, regardless of the result.

Father Ted Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Up until the penalty, we were quality and not a single player on that pitch put a bad performance in including Konchesky. He supported attacks well and defended stoutly until towards the end when he began to get a bit tired and we were down to 10 men. I am a fan of the Konch.
