Leicester Lass Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Goals just been on SSN, some good finishes all round. Edit: Didn't see the post above, how freaky!
Jimmy Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 A game of four quarters as much as it was of two halves, that one. Certainly not one of our better performances but we got the job done. Full report, etc, as usual. Chris Weale won't be playing Saturday, 2 yellow cards is a 1 game ban
Narborough_fox Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Just seen the goals. All of ours were pretty good in there own way. Weale didn't really have a chance with either.
Jimmy Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Goals just been on SSN - all decent finishes. looked up just as Schlupp was celebrating so missed that 1
nuttytimmy Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Waggy looking for another club then, that's why he was left out - Sven on BBC R Leics.
nuttytimmy Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Chris Weale won't be playing Saturday, 2 yellow cards is a 1 game ban Of course, my mistake!! Edited.
Salieri Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Just seen the goals. All of ours were pretty good in there own way. Weale didn't really have a chance with either. Ahhh, shame. There will be a lot of disappointed people on here.
NorthernFox Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Well chuffed, love a good cup run. Can't beat the winning habit...
Libertine Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Very nice goals. Shit ones to concede though, dodgy defending for the first and shit positioning by Weale for the second.
DMU Fox Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Potential banana skin avoided and a good run out for some squad members who needed some game time. Happy with the result, not fussed too much if it wasn't a perfect performance. Lets turn winning into a habit, with the team still needing to gel, important to get the wins under our belts.
Socks Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 phew turned out good in the end was bricking it though at one stage!
leicesterseddon Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 A game of four quarters as much as it was of two halves, that one. Certainly not one of our better performances but we got the job done. Full report, etc, as usual. That's a great site that...why have I not come across it before!?
lovelcfc Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 good result happy for jeff could be a natural goalscorer happy tonight
Collymore Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Goals have just been SSN. Dyer's goal was quality - Fernadez and Danns celebration is soooooo funny! It's a right camp dance!
Thracian Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 schlupp - 20 goals a season.. in the cup Even as the lone striker he kept two defenders busy and might have had a hat-trick instead of just the one well-taken goal. Alan Young pleading for us to keep him and involve him rather than sending him out on loan and I couldn't agree more with him.
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Comfortable win in the end. Thought moussa and dyer looked decent, and was impressed again with st ledger. I think someone has mentioned before today that King seems much quicker and more direct this season. He showed that again today when he came on and really was a key reason for the change in emphasis towards the end of the game. Timely win which will hopefully provide some confidence for saturday.
Callabinho Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 I am lost for words, the number of people moaning on twitter because we narrowly beat bury tonight..what part of utilising the squad and making 10 changes do people not get? I'm pretty pleased it shows our squad is still strong even after 10 changes, some people really need to wake us and smell the cherry pie and give Sven some slack!! Bring on the next stage!!!
Stevosevic Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Even as the lone striker he kept two defenders busy and might have had a hat-trick instead of just the one well-taken goal. Alan Young pleading for us to keep him and involve him rather than sending him out on loan and I couldn't agree more with him. I think we will, he has already pushed himself to 3rd choice, and see no reason why he won't play his part in this season. Sven rates him, and rightly so.
Night Air Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 someone uploaded that bury freekick- Weale was not to blame for that!
