Collymore Posted 20 September 2011 Posted 20 September 2011 IMO my choice who i would start out of the 2 would be Peltier Thanks for that
ScouseFox Posted 20 September 2011 Posted 20 September 2011 Peltier by a mile. More solid at the back, less crazy and better offensively.
Wymsey Posted 20 September 2011 Posted 20 September 2011 Both got different qualities imo: Peltier - Got pace and likes to go forward. Pantsil - Likes to remain at the back and handles pressure well.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 20 September 2011 Posted 20 September 2011 Obvious one really - come on down Mr Peltier.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 20 September 2011 Posted 20 September 2011 over the course of the season having two quality players in that position will be great. From the little we've seen from peltier he's looked good on the ball, good going forward, positive and scored 2(1) goals too. However he'll probably be more likely to be more inconsistent at times than pantsil due to lower age and experience. Pantsil on the other hand has looked more........toned down. Less positive and direct. Nothing glaringly bad - although at times his defensive positioning is awful. Really leaves himself in bad positions - and this pulls Mills out of position to cover him - leaving gaps - for example see the first Southampton goal. the lap of pitch after some wins is awesome though.
Walshy5 Posted 20 September 2011 Posted 20 September 2011 Both got different qualities imo: Peltier - Got pace and likes to go forward. Pantsil - Likes to remain at the back and handles pressure well. This. Horses for courses and all that.
unreachable Posted 20 September 2011 Posted 20 September 2011 Peltier had an excellent match against Brighton whereas Pantsil looked very nervous and slow when he came in. Pantsil was a whisker away from pulling down a Brighton player at the end of the match and giving away a penalty. Peltier should start against Cardiff in the League match - he deserves it on current form.
Christoph Posted 20 September 2011 Posted 20 September 2011 I'd rather rest Peltier for the league game and give Pantsil a run out for the cup game.
LoughboroughFox Posted 20 September 2011 Posted 20 September 2011 What ive seen so far this season, Peltier with out a doubt! any goal against cov scum sways me
scinnell Posted 20 September 2011 Posted 20 September 2011 Peltier for me, having a pantsil in defence is like having another bamba, goid defenders but can make the odd crazy moment!
The Doctor Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 On the starts they've made: Peltier although I still think Pantsil is the better player.
Happy Fox Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Both offer different attributes, one thing is for certain maybe this is a wake up call to Pantsil, to start performing otherwise he won't get in the team, but competition can only be a good thing, but Peltier for me at this moment in time.
panky and our gang Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Peltier is the obvious choice plus I don't like Pantsil's silly boots .
Austin Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Both good players, people are so qucik to change there mind on players .. Seem to remember people loving Johnny P after the Florist game. I like them both, but based on current form Peltier would just about edge it.
Zingari Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Peltier and Pantsil sounds like a good name for a comedy double act
SuperScout Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Pantsil is more experienced at this level, but in terms of our long term future, Peltier would be our best bet.
crisp packet Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Peltier all day mills plays better when he plays . Pantsil gets caught to far forward too much , Barnsley Southampton and Bristol city all played long diagonals and played on pants- still ...
