Lets see Tunchev back from palace!

Just 16 goals conceded in 20 matches by Palace this season and nine clean sheets. We've conceded 24 goals in 19 games with only six clean sheets. Quite where the evidence is for Mills or Bamba being "better" than Tunchev I don't know. They are completely different players in any case but Tunchev's reading of the game seems like something we could do with badly. That, and his reliability and calmness under pressure.

Better than Mills? No.

Better than Bamba? No.

Better than SSL? Suprisingly probably not.

REALLY??? (PS, I am judging him in a Leicester shirt, not the ROI!!)

Ahh, well I'm including his ROI games in that, maybe therein lies the difference, he's done well for them.

Pearson is going to use our squad very differently to Sven.

I would expect Tunchev to play a bigger role, and St Ledger for that matter.

And he's a naturally left-sided centre back!

What a surprise! Yet another essay by Thracian, talking complete shit yet again!

That's constructive! Tunchev plays half the Palace games in a distinctly meaner defence than ours and in a team that has been consistently higher in the Championship table all season and you (presumably) contend that our central defenders are better.

Mills has had some good games but he's also cost us some goals and his distribution is way less than impressive. Bamba too - although one of my favourite players in the City team simply for his unbridled enthusiasm and commitment -is also a disaster waiting to happen at times...those "times" being most games at one moment or another.

So your point is exactly what?

So, Thracian bothers to deliver a point of view, as he does so often. I invariably read his thoughts, even if I don't always agree with him. He's interesting. Blueblood88, on the other hand, can do no more than be rude to him. Why do you bother Blueblood? I think you need to decide what life is for, and what contribution you can make. If you're a kid, fair play, you'll learn. If you're an adult, time to start behaving like one.
