foxfanazer Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 4 of us were supposed to be going to Bolton for a cup game but all 3 of my mates couldn't go in the end due to various reasons. I went on my own in the end and we lost 2-1, Gareth Williams scored a great goal though
Corky Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Ipswich last season was fun, crap game with stoppages, snow and train delays.
melrose Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 It's got to be Harlow away... but most dissapointed has to be FA cup semi against spurs at villa park in 82
Captain... Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Some seriously hopeless and shit performances: Charlton away - L 2-0 QPR away - L 3-1Southampton away - FA Cup - L 2-0 I honestly thought we played well in this game. We could easily have won. Does my head in to see those happy clappy Reading F**kwits celebrate every time we play against them. The game we won in 2009 was one of the best just to rub it in their faces. Was QPR away the New Years Day fixture in our relegation season? That was a horrible match was living in London at the time, so it was only a short journey but I dragged my Liverpool and Man U supporting housemates along to watch some real footy. We all had massive hangovers, the stadium had a massive hangover, the crowd on both sides were shit and the performance was worse. The stadium is a shit hole with no leg room, the only banter was fat QPR fan in a wig shouting at us. Highlight of the game was Ian Hume's freekick. the worst thing is they still owe me £20 each for the tickets, but I just didn't have the heart to ask them for it after subjecting them to such boredom. Same season but different for other reasons, Chelsea away in the cup, cracking game cracking atmosphere, I was stuck in the home end close to the away fans going mental, and having to politely applaud the Chelsea goals, so glad it didn't go to penalties. Have to agree with anyone who says away days at Coventry are the worst, awful city, awful stadium (the old one, Highfield Road?) and an awful 0-0 borefest, at least the trip back was a short one.
surrifox Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Away to Torquay in the FA Cup 3rd round (1970?)- travelling from London and got to Exeter before finding out the game was postponed
wellsy Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Gotta be the 5-1 defeat at Forest for me. Terrible performance, woeful result and that cvnt Earnshaw is still in my head doing backflips when he got his 3rd. A close second would be the play offs at Cardiff. For obvious reasons, but that Black Eyed Peas song they played after when they did a lap of the pitch still gives me nightmares.
dobbylcfc Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Luton few seasons back was another one went on the train and was escorted to the ground by the old bill and me dad got arrested for apparently enciting a riot ( he didnt do anything wrong) went to the match which we won then spent hours trying to find where they'd taken him to.
NewburyFox Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 The play-offs defeat at Cardiff in the 09/10 season. Kermorgant
kylestyle06 Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 I was going to say the 6-1 loss of Portsmouth, or the Kermagant penalty, but it gets worse. Cardiff away just gone, boring 0-0, vassell nearly nicked it, but this was the least of our worries. Me and 2 mates went for the night out in Cardiff on Sunday night. All was well, my mate met this bird (bit of a tramp), but she was all over him. Ended up spending the night with her, and she wanted to come back to the hotel room to get a few hours sleep as she had work in the morning.... Anyway, she came back , nothing happened, she had work at 7am in the morning (to which she didn't leave till 7.15am). Didn't think anything of it. Just getting everything ready about 12pm ready to go for a nice full english, and theres a bang on the door. I open the door, to find 10 police officers armed with guns run in, pin us down, and arrest us on suspicion of rape!! We spend the next 24 hours in a police cell, being treated like a rapist, have my bellend swabbed, wondering WTF is going on. I was wondering if any of them did nail it, luckily not. It turns out, she had a boyfriend, had to take her mum work at 7am, and the easiest way out was to say she got raped! As she thought she was going to lose her job and boyfriend! Silly whore. LUCKILY, noone did touch her, or it'd probably be a differen't story. Moral of the story, when you go to away games, or anywhere in general, be carefull, because it can ruin your life if you bring some dirty sket back. For weeks after I had nightmares, and was thinking "what if" they believe her. Luckily she couldn't bring herself forward to carry on with it, and went to the police and admitted she lied. Bitch.
Tommeh Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 5-1 to Forest all day long. Every trip will have at least a decent piss up, night out to forget the game, train/car ride and a laugh. eg. Pompey 6-1 great night out after. however that loss at the city ground was just horrible. Going back was the quietest football special I've ever been on, nobody could quite believe it and were straight home into a corner.

kylestyle06 Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 I hope that the old bill nicked the bitch for pulling that stunt! You know what they said.. 'We're not taking it any further with her' Appauling. And the officer in charge has told me that her mum has made allegations exactally the same in the past. Dirty scum of the earth, i'd love to give her a backhander at Cardiff away next year.
MPH Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 League cup against sheffield Wednesday in the early 90's We lost 7-1. Pressman had a blinder for them and it was freezing cold....
JuddLCFC Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Peterborough away in the league one season, they oversold the standing area to LCFC fans and when leicester went on the attack people were falling over and lucky to not be stamped on, Hartlepool away because of the result, great atmosphere from the LCFC fans though
syston_fox Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Any of our last three trips to Southampton. The tuesday night 1-0 defeat in the relegation season being the worst of the lot. It didn't help that me, LD3 and JME got humiliated in a FIFA tournament outside the ground before kick off.

That's fookin unbelievable mate...she could have ruined your life! If you bump into her again that's one occasion where it's fine to hit a woman!
acooling08 Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Scunthorpe away 2008 was bad. It was cold Their stadium is shit The atmosphere was shit Shit performance We got robbed of a win by the linesman. It ended 0-0 but Kisnorbo has a header ruled offside that was way onside late on.
whoareyaaa Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Has to be Plymouth away about 4 years ago, last game of the season... on a Sunday 6+ hour drive down - the most boring 0-0 ever a shed stand and then a 6+ hour drive back. never again will I go to Plymouth.
WillyBeet Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Just signed up to add my input into this..................Rotherham away in the Johnstones Paint Trophy a couple of seasons ago. A Tuesday night at the Don Valley (a shit hockey / athletics stadium where uni students do their exams) - the ground has no roof, it was raining and it was ****ing freezing. It has a running track so you are a million miles from the pitch. It was bare empty with about 3/4 of the ground just not even open. Ended up losing about 2-0 with Rotherham in the division below us. Has to be Plymouth away about 4 years ago, last game of the season... on a Sunday 6+ hour drive down - the most boring 0-0 ever a shed stand and then a 6+ hour drive back. never again will I go to Plymouth. Oh and this one, made a massive weekend of it for the shittest 0-0 in history
woddyuk Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Pompey last year and forest year before that must be worst games ever. Also remember man city away in thr 80s at maine rd when I think we lost 4-1 jari rantenans shorts were about three sizes too small for him. Forest away on a sunday in the 80's lost 5-4 was it ?? After being 3-0 up..
Leicesterpool Posted 22 November 2011 Author Posted 22 November 2011 Another I can mention was Blackpool away in 2008, awful performance! It was all standing, sh*t weather, open to the elements. Most awful Dickov's last minute goal against us. Apart from all that a good weekend in Blackpool.
Corky Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 Yeah, the Forest 5-1 was bad, along with my last two visits to Southampton.
I am Rod Hull Posted 22 November 2011 Posted 22 November 2011 5-1 wupping at Cambridge. God knows when, must be 20 years ago. Early kick off, Sunday game, we were late (were 2-0 down when we got there), shite ground, humid, no beer before game, no beer after game (early closing on a Sunday).... SHITE !
