wattolcfc Posted 25 November 2011 Posted 25 November 2011 Chelsea and then what happened in the F.A cup in 96'/'97 (I think) with us completely being robbed with THAT penalty!
wellyfox Posted 25 November 2011 Posted 25 November 2011 Chelsea and then what happened in the F.A cup in 96'/'97 (I think) with us completely being robbed with THAT penalty! The Chelski thing goes back to the late 70's the baby squad and the head hunters. If you get police facts i think you will find the most arrests were at city chelsea games. And the boxing day fixtures where a battle royal. I know an ex head hunter he say's most of them looked for us first when the fixture list came out. Unlike most they played they new they had a fight when it came to us. N some of them did not even rate the west ham game. As for stoke that goes back to the 70's 2. I think joe royal was there manager they came to us at a low n most in bad moodes. They were kicking of throughout the game. But after the game about 200 stoke fans went to demonstrate outside the main stand to get royal out. Was about an hour after the whistle had gone n they were waiting for the team to come out. When a shite load of city fans came back n wasted em. Since then stokes been shit
Fox92 Posted 25 November 2011 Posted 25 November 2011 Yeh I've always hated Stoke since that game in 2008. Not just that we lost to them and went down, but they really were dirty in that game, they should have had a player sent off. Then the fans invaded the pitch before the end, I didn't like that, we weren't given the right amount of stoppage time as a result but I'm probably just clutching at straws with that. All the same it pissed me off. Same. As soon as that happened, and even though they were told to move back, I knew the referee would call it. Mike Dean And, when they did invade, I hated it because it was like they wasn't even celebrating. I recall them just singing in our direction, stood in front of the away end. I hate Stoke, not just because of that day, but I hate them with passion. McAuley hit the post that game as well
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 25 November 2011 Posted 25 November 2011 I hate Stoke. I hate Tony Pulis. I hate his long football. I hate thier fans. I hate how they reacted to when we were relegated and they were promoted. But, Stoke did not send Leicester down. We sent ourselves down. This
Guest Bilo Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 I would love Stoke to crash and burn a la Portsmouth. Just hope they get as Bertie Big Bollocks as Pompey did when they got into Europe. Horrible club, horrible football, horrible Neanderthal fans. Fvck off Stoke.
Libertine Dream Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 I echo the points from earlier, that most people have a dislike for Leicester, not just for the administration and our recent takeover but also we seemed to always rub people uo the wrong way in late 80s and 90s and I think alot of it stems from them especially the time under MON. It seems more to be teams down south but a few of the yorkshire and the obvious Midlanders +Wolves who dislike us. Not as disliked as Leeds, Man Utd, Chelsea, Millwall, West Ham etc
old koppite Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Chelsea sing 'over land and sea, and Leicester', but so do most clubs, even Arsenal sing that.I have heared about this rivalry, and I have heared some Leicester fans sing 'Chelsea ran away', [/b]but is it a rivalry/less obvious rivalry? I didn't think Chelsea bothered, and I know some Chelsea fans who don't know either Yeah, heard that on the Sky game last Sat at Norwich a few times really clear- didn't know there was any special history - or are they just copying Chelsea, and "Lestah" in a London accent sounds "hard"?
Fox92 Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Yeah, heard that on the Sky game last Sat at Norwich a few times really clear- didn't know there was any special history - or are they just copying Chelsea, and "Lestah" in a London accent sounds "hard"? I visited an Arsenal forum, and even they didn't know. Is Leicester the furthest place away from the sea? Is that why? I do not understand, but most teams sing it. I love it when London-based fans, such as Arsenal, sing 'Lestah'.
John Matrix Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 i seem to remember a sun article from around 2002 that said we were popular as peoples second team.

wellyfox Posted 26 November 2011 Posted 26 November 2011 Isnt it to do with the sign on the m1. The north 'and Leicester'.? You sir are so correct except chelsea they hate us. And for you youngsters the baby squad was one of the main crews. Chelski wham millwall us then the rest. But the BS was notjust about who you played. Was in banbury on the way back from Sotton once about 30 of em called in and smashed up 3 pubs. You need to ask why we are still hated.

You need to ask why we are still hated. With Harjinder Singh the coach of JCT Punjab being linked with the managers job, this has now been a major gripe with the 3,000,0000 JCT fans!!
Tommeh Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Stoke by a country mile close to Forest for me certainly level with Derby, don't have any time for Villa either. More than happy to play out these rivalries with Pompey and Chelsea sure as Hell beats coventry and Peterborough. Special mention to the boys at Welford Road also, cannot stand them.
Dan Posted 27 November 2011 Author Posted 27 November 2011 Pompey - Leicester isn't much of a rivalry really, is it. Their fans treated us completely normally.
flowwolf Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Being hated does not matter much , just look at the most hated club in British history Man united. When I see little kids out and about in Leicester with a full Man united kit on I want to physically assault their parents for being the sad bandwagoning bastards they are. They deserve a bloody good kicking and reporting to the N.S.P.C.C and jailing for child abuse.
Ashley Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Leicester Chelsea is definately one for the older fans. A friendly rivalry in a bizarre way though, we wil always drink with Chelsea on England away days. Leeds is one, though a lot of clubs hate them. Leicester probably one of the most represented clubs at England games Hate Chelsea, big time.
Bert Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 yeah but the origin is 1996 No it wasn't. Try early 90's.
Jimmy Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 No it wasn't. Try early 90's. never really heard about anything happening pre 96 and Parker scoring that winner

FuriousFox46 Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Simple Chelsea - because of the hooliganism fiasco Portsmouth - I don't really know Peterborough - I really really don't know Hull - Because of 'judas'
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Wolves. Was attacked there by a load of pissed up wankers. There were 4 of us and about 100 of them. Absolute tossers the lot of them.
Libertine Dream Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 Scunthorpe because they ****ed off when we got the L1 trophy and their player exhanged words with our fans last year. Hate their guts now Also Can we have some less obvious love-ins? Gotta be Cheltenham because their fans did the conga.
Alexikokopops Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 I don't really hate many teams. It all seems like a waste of effort. I'll tell you where I hate though. Loftus Road. What a dick of a place.
RonnieTodger Posted 18 February 2012 Posted 18 February 2012 I really hate Hull now. The attitude from their fans have been appalling and they were so annoying when we lost their 2-1. Other than them, I dislike Brighton and hate Birmingham.
