GLC Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Just seen the save he made yesterday, What a keeper! Best keeper in the championship by far, Can't see it being long before he gets labelled a 'Legend' at this club!
ithuriel Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Need's to get at least a season under his belt and keep plenty of clean sheet's to earn legendary status.
MikeyT Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Haven't seen the save yet. Anyone got a link to a video of it please?
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Brilliant keeper. Hope we do go up this season, as there is a chance he'll move to the Premier League otherwise
LufbraBlue Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Haven't seen the save yet. Anyone got a link to a video of it please? Football League Show has the highlights. Go to about 27.30 for the save although the camera angle is full on. Look for his other saves later too.
z-layrex Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 He's just incredible. The guy has won us so many points this season.
Legend_in_blue Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 I have watched the save several times and have run it through on slow motion and I cannot tell you even now how he managed that save. Incredible save. He's up there with the best keepers we've ever had.
cc_star Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 SAF used to say Peter Schmeichel was worth 12pts a season over having an ordinary keeper in goal, Kasper looks much the same Would love a slo-mo clip of it
kingfox Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Just a shame the saves weren't at our end where we were sitting. 1st save looks absolutely incredible, but it looked as if he tipped it onto the post from the other end of the stadium. 2nd one was more clearer, and to get up that quick and dive right across takes some skill. Incredible goalkeeper, and on the ratings he deserved man of the match, they didn't play that well but saves like that warrant praise.
itwasthebobble Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 I am still trying to figure how the hell he kept that out. He has been an absolute revelation for us so far this season. He deserves the chance of premiership football. (Of course only with LCFC next season.....)
ealingfox Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Unbelievable saves. Real gem on our hands here, let's hope Sven's happy with Robinson at Blackburn.
Corky Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 He trains really hard in the warm ups before games. Stowell blasts shots at him from close range to improve his reflexes. You look at some of the point-blank saves he makes and that preparation must make a difference.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 He is a hero, already on his way to becoming a LCFC legend.
Sthlm Fox Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Yep, he has certainly been one of the best players this season I think. Also the best signing of the summer... Kasper for Denmark?
Guest Bilo Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 The signing of the summer for me with Nugent a close second. How long has it been since we had a genuinely top class keeper?
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Just seen the highlights on the football league show and the save on the follow up shot to Norris hitting the bar was sensational too.. Best keeper City have had in a long time
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 The signing of the summer for me with Nugent a close second. How long has it been since we had a genuinely top class keeper? I think we could be going as far back as Kasey Keller... He could drop a bollock or two but made some sensational saves for City under MON
SeCrEt FoX Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Dont wanna curse this but i can see someone like Man U coming in for him especially if De Gea continues to be a flop , hope not , Defo one of Citys best ever signings I think we could be going as far back as Kasey Keller... He could drop a bollock or two but made some sensational saves for City under MON Timothy Flowers
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Dont wanna curse this but i can see someone like Man U coming in for him especially if De Gea continues to be a flop , hope not , Defo one of Citys best ever signings Timothy Flowers Yeah I did think about Flowers but was he actually playing with us that long? I thought he had a coaching role pretty quickly? And he must have been at the end of his playing career? Then again mi memory's shocking..
Babylon Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 I think we could be going as far back as Kasey Keller... He could drop a bollock or two but made some sensational saves for City under MON England Keepers Tim Flowers and Ian Walker weren't bad either!!! Lets not go OTT about how good he is, seen some people saying he's our best keeper since Shilton... we all know that was Kevin Poole

I think he may still be playing now? Spider Kalac was easily the best...
SeCrEt FoX Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Where bouts did it hit Kasper? Hard to tell , Did he palm it away or hit his leg Great reaction tho
steveherbe Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 we were on third row yesterday, absolute centre of goal KS did his warm up routine in. I've played in goal a bit, but the saves he was making in the warm-up were unbelievable! Stowell blasting it at him from 8 yards out, and he just blocked them with an arm. So when he made the 'wonder' save second half, I said to my son 'And thats how to do it in a match'. Brilliant keeper, and seems a really nice genuine guy as well. Applauded the fans when he finished warm-up. Also noticed when we missed a couple of first half chances, he was as pissed off as we were. Top man for me.
Babylon Posted 27 November 2011 Posted 27 November 2011 Where bouts did it hit Kasper? Hard to tell , Did he palm it away or hit his leg Great reaction tho I'm not sure he even touched it from that angle.
