Guest Basildon Fox Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 These are the realistic, in form, needed, cost effective players I'd look to bring in if I was Nigel Pearson: CB: Christian Strohdiek, Paderborn 450k LB: Juan Fuentes, Cordoba 350k DCM: Sung-Yong Ki, Celtic 3.5m RM: James Forrest, Celtic 1.5m ACM: Vitor Gomes Pereira Junior, LA Galaxy/Sao Paulo 100k LM: Danny Cruz, Houston Dynamo 100k ST: Nick Proschwitz, Paderborn 525k Total: 6,525,000 What you all think? I think you have been playing too much Football Manager.
Kitchandro Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 I think we have the keeper and defence,to get us out of this league (((But not much more)) I WOULD KEEP THE FOLLOWING DEFENSIVE PLAYERS Kasper Schmeichel Lee Peltier Paul Konchesky Matt Mills Sol Bamba Sean St. Ledger Aleksandar Tunchev -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Out of the rest of the squad the only ones worth keeping are: Andy King Lloyd Dyer Yuki Abe Gelson Fernandes David Nugent Jeffrey Schlupp Jermaine Beckford (Give him till the end of the season then decide) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The rest are either to inconsistent or just not good enough. GET RID!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Those 3 aren't inconsistent? We can't afford to get rid of that many players. In fact we don't need to get rid of anyone, we only need 1 or 2 signings to add to the squad and we'll be there. It's no coincidence that the midfield has been the worst performing area of the pitch when it is the least balanced. Yes we've bought a load of midfielders but there's very little pace and individual creativity amongst them (i.e dribbling skills). It's not that the midfieders are bad it's that they are not being complimented with different kinds of midfielders.

Do you really think half the people on here know who some of these players are? Go back to football manager.

Well, with my vast knowledge on players from the second German division.......

Proschwitz could be quite a bargain. He's somehing like a target man who is capable of scoring loads of goals. He used to play in Switzerland, so I've seen him play alot and I think he would be a good adition Edit: By the way, he measures 192cm and is good at headers.

Ambitious Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 I imagine none of our scouting staff have even heard of half of these chumps. That's why we need to get rid of our scouting staff

Although this is quite clearly a list formed from your knowledge of football manager, from what I've seen of Forrest he does look a good young player.
MPH Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 That's why we need to get rid of our scouting staff are you honestly suggesting that by watching a couple of games on tv and playing football manager.. reading a few news articles that you know more than the entire Leicester City scouting network?

MPH Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 It looks that way... I just sometimes fail to see when people are making a joke! Not good at spotting them among the mind numblingly stupid posts on here!
John Matrix Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 I just sometimes fail to see when people are making a joke! Not good at spotting them among the mind numblingly stupid posts on here! he's not joking. the guy is a weirdo. everything comes from FM.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 Yes Are you Superscout from Talking Balls and if so just because you have been banned from there what made you think your ludicrous lists would be in any way more welcomed on this forum? If not, still how have you managed to come up with these names and why? I doubt if you have even seen half of them play.
hackneyfox Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 Billy Sharp & Peter Whittingham according to: http://www.fansonline.net/leicestercity/mb/view.php?id=451990 Jimmy Kebe according to: http://www.fansonline.net/leicestercity/mb/view.php?id=452051 Not that I'd believe hide
Pub breath Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 Aiden White and Jonathan Howson are possible to sign Why are you lot so obsessed with trying to tap up our players, we're not that good you know! I've long since given up on the idea that such and such a player "will never leave". Jonny, i'm sure, would be very loath to leave Leeds as a Leeds fan but money talks in football and we have none. He has yet to sign his new contract so anything could happen. No finer "in the hole" player in the Championship than Jonny, he's truly exceptional in that position, probably good enough to play in the Premiership. As a central midfielder, he's average at very best and just can't adapt.to 4-4-2 however much we try to make him. Unless you are prepared to play a 4-5-1 formation, forget Howson, he'd not serve you at all.

It's not that the midfieders are bad it's that they are not being complimented with different kinds of midfielders. I agree with all these points. I really believe that we are almost there in terms of the squad. We don't have bad midfielders, far from it, but we do not have a good midfield....yet.
MPH Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 If we got Kebe AND whittingham.... I might just explode. REAL wide men with REAL crossing abilities.... who can score goals too...
Happy Fox Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 I am unsure about Sharp, he is similaresque like Nugent if we are going for a striker it has to be a target man. Whittingham would be quality, and if we get Brady on loan we are sorted as far as I am concerned.
