I'm expecting a win, especially to the likes of Peterborough these are the games we need to win the teams that are below us I'm going for a leicester win, maybe 2-0 3-0.

IT’S taken six long years, but on Saturday Peterborough United striker Lee Tomlin will finally get the chance to show Leicester City what they let go.

Tomlin was born in Leicester and was part of the football club’s youth set-up from the age of 9-16 before he was released into non-league football.

The 22 year-old bears no grudges, but admits this would be the perfect game for him to return to his best form.

Tomlin said: “I’ve not been at my best lately. I hold my hands up to that, but I’ve never stopped trying and I never will.

“There were signs that it was coming back last weekend against Barnsley, even if I probably should have scored a couple of goals.

“Leicester away is the big game for me though. It’s the first fixture I looked for when they came out.

“It’s where I’m from, it’s where my family live and I can’t believe I’m finally going to step out on that pitch.

“I used to be a ball-boy for them so to get the chance to play against them and hopefully beat them is amazing really.

“I want to win every game, but particularly this one. There are a few coaches still there from my time, including the one who released me!

“It won’t be easy for us obviously. They are a great team, but we have good players just like them and we fancy our chances of getting three points

“We definitely have the forwards to cause them problems. For me, just to be playing alongside the likes of George Boyd is exciting and we have a decent understanding of each other.

“I’m sure we will create chances and score goals as usual. I can’t wait to get out there and play well.”

Tomlin is one of 16 fit and available Posh players tomorrow. Full-backs Mark Little (injured) and Tom Kennedy (ineligible) are absent.

Posh boss Darren Ferguson added: “I may take a couple of the young lads with me tomorrow. It’s between Tommy Rowe, Kgosi Nthle and Nathan Ralph for left-back.

“We’re down to 16 senior players, but we still have strength in depth as the lads who came on as substitutes last weekend showed.

“We have to remember that even our best players can’t play well every week so we need good back-up.”

Posh have sold in excess of 1,500 tickets for tomorrow’s match, but fans can pay on the turnstiles.

Leicester are expecting their biggest home crowd of the season as they have laid on extra entertainment for younger supporters and they are offering cheaper than normal admission prices.

Leicester’s biggest home gate of the season so far is 27,720 for the visit of Leeds United last month.

Nope. Worries me too much. I like him but would like to see Tunch in.

You're one of the best peeps on here Mikey but I can't agree with you on this one

I'd like Bamba and Tunch personally.

St Ledger deserves to be playing for me.

I know Wellens is going to start but I'd prefer to see Danns go central with Gally coming in on the right.

Galley, danns, dyer, king..........very depressing.........in saying that 8-0 city Nugent scores all of them and the best atmosphere ever at KP (in other words the kop sing a song) You see I'm a realist and an optimist.

Hard to predict this one, I can see a 2-1 scoreline, despite their habit of conceding goals, Peterborough have only lost one League game by more than one goal, so I think it will be very close either way.

Surely Fernandes has to start.

We should win this and the next few, if NFP is ever to try out other players now is the time.

Time to try a game without his regulars in the midfield, change it around a bit and put JS on the bench.

The only player I definitely want to see excluded is Danns, whose performances haven't merited a place in the squad recently, let alone in the starting XI. Other than that, I agree this might be a good game to shake things up. JS should definitely be at least on the bench - if Peterborough get streched in the second half it could be the ideal time to deploy his energy and pace.

The area where I'd like to ring the changes is on the wings, as both Dyer and Gallagher have proven to us (again, as if we needed it), they aren't consistent enough to provide the answer to our problems in this division. Pearson, however, just doesn't have that option at the minute, because he simply doesn't have replacements, aside from playing central midfield players on the wing (and we all know what a disaster that has been so far this season).

So yeah. Pearson, for the minute, is just going to have to try and do the best he can with what he has at his disposal until he gets the chance to buy players. Just more evidence of Sven's absurd and downright stupid recruitment policy.

We lost last game so its defo a win this game!!

Or like the above states a dull 0-0!!

Do all Posh fans have little man syndrome? Mouthing off about how they hate us to me all week. Normally would like a small club who try to play football and play in games involving tons of goals but their fans are dicks. Hope we smash 'em.
