Peterboro' Pre-Match Ventilation 2011.

The only player I definitely want to see excluded is Danns, whose performances haven't merited a place in the squad recently, let alone in the starting XI. Other than that, I agree this might be a good game to shake things up. JS should definitely be at least on the bench - if Peterborough get streched in the second half it could be the ideal time to deploy his energy and pace.

The area where I'd like to ring the changes is on the wings, as both Dyer and Gallagher have proven to us (again, as if we needed it), they aren't consistent enough to provide the answer to our problems in this division. Pearson, however, just doesn't have that option at the minute, because he simply doesn't have replacements, aside from playing central midfield players on the wing (and we all know what a disaster that has been so far this season).

So yeah. Pearson, for the minute, is just going to have to try and do the best he can with what he has at his disposal until he gets the chance to buy players. Just more evidence of Sven's absurd and downright stupid recruitment policy.

Would you not agree that Danns hasnt had much game time, just the odd start and the odd substitution? and also the fact hes not playing in his natural position? i do however agree with you that he hasn't been very consistant with only the odd good performance, but hes covering the position of a winger/wideman which hes never going to do aswell in as central midfield. Before he came to use i rated him as one of the best centre mids in the league, at this point he was playing week in week out at crystal palace in his position. If he had done that here i think he would be one of our top players and i still highly rate him, to be fair hes done a reasonable job considering hes slightly out of position.

its got 0-0 written all over it ph34r.gif

you say that along with the majority of fans we've played over the last 100 matches, averaging a goal every 24 minutes or something.

Saying that its got 0-0 written all over it.

Reckon they will give us a tough game to be honest.

2-1 to us with Becks and Nugey scoring

1-1 half time, Nugey for us and then becks to get winner 80th minute!

Yes, I did go.

Yeah, he didn't have his best game. He didn't seem to think like he usually does, and that affected some of his passing. But I don't think he was the laziest player.

Your opinion and my opinion is nothing compared to Nigel Pearson's. If he thinks Wellens should be dropped, he will be dopped.

Yes exactly Pearson is the manager because no one on here can do his job better. I love this forum but do get a bit peeved at some pointless threads, this one being a prime example.

I think Dyer will start today but largely only for the reason that P'boro are struggling for a left back with first choice two out injured. His pace should cause real problems for them.........

Could see us pasting these today if we are on top of our game and we could do with the 3 points to get back up there, few teams around us are playing each other so should be intresting to see where we are come the end of the day. can see West ham and Sotuhamton dropping points today.

4-0 Beckford 2 / Nuge 2

You're one of the best peeps on here Mikey but I can't agree with you on this one

I'd like Bamba and Tunch personally.

I do like Bamba, don't get me wrong. I just panic and have mini heart attacks whenever the ball makes its way to him. lol

I work in Peterborough and was on duty last week for Peterborough Vs Barnsley. Peterborough goalkeeper was poor from long range and if we can stop George Boyd then thats their main production line closed.

The fans really get on their backs as well when they start losing so an early goal is vital today
