I see the Jukebox from Cov has gone to Middlesborough for £1.3m we should of been in for him. We wouldn't have shown an interest in either, yet we bid a little less for a striker unproven above Conference level, it doesn't take a genius to work out somethings wrong at our club and until its sorted they'll be no promotion, at least from this league.

Sure he went for Sharp, but he must be aware that our most urgent need is in midfield and may have some "behind the scenes" moves going on. Well, I'd prefer to be optimistic, anyway. He's done the business for us in the past.

Instead of getting free players who are awful, why not fork out £5 million for a half decent player? Im feeling these players Tshabalala on the left wing. Rapid and Black. The two key things we need. SERIOUSLY we should have signed Yakubu, why we didnt god beyond me. A decent CM who isnt a puff! Who dares win tackles and goes up for headers. Like Kevin Nolan of a player or Izzet? Such as Gotze Xavi he's getting old Kazuki Honda! Standard Winners

teblin Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 At least 1 wide player but I still think we need a "target man" Grant Holt would be ideal, not going to happen but someone in that style. Then someone in midfield who gives us a bit of steel. Not sure we need a "playmaker" someone who can beat a man in wide positions will free space up for others to create.
