all depends who the settled team ends up being though.. no good being a settled team if half the decent players have gone.

really hope this isnt true about him going, we need a great replacement lined up if it is even remotely ging to happen

Don't see that, almost anyone could replace him, if a player tracks back they've done more than Beckford, if a player puts himself about a bit they've done more than Beckford, if a player scores more than about 1 in 10 PR whatever they've done more than Beckford

He is the one player who could be replaced by someone average & we'd be better off.

The only people who'll miss him are the fans that think you can get promoted by signing name alone

Hopefully Danns, Johnson & Paintsil and a few others aren't far behind

Expensive under achievers & non-achievers for us,the lot of them

I think there has got to be more to this story this forth official guy has been very reliable with our rumours so this season. If Beckford is on his way out then someone surely must be coming in. Would of liked to seen what Beckford could do with a better midfield but if their is any chance we could end up with Snograss in a deal and Billy Sharp in January I think we will be in a far better situation. In Pearson we must trust he knows what he is doing and their is not many managers right now I could that about in this division.

would prefer to sort the midfield out, get in a winger, and then see what JB can do than have some average player come in myself..

Absolutely no club will pay that kind of money, only Sven's daft enough.

A desperate Premier side could go in for him, but my money would be a loan back to Leeds.

Of which no doubt he'd net a good 15 goals before the end of the season.

He can't leave permanently because he has already played for two clubs this season so unless it is a loan he cannot leave.

Was brought in to be Svens iceman and has not done the business, seem's that those who said he was a panic buy by Sven may have been correct :(

He has been pretty dire thus far though, against Peterborough when he poorly controlled the ball and took it out of play, for the first time ever i actually lost my cool and shouted at him he was f***ing rubbish, i have never before in all my years of going down done that but he really, finally peeved me off.

If Beckford is going then it should show that no one is safe from the chop but at present it is just an if.

It seems as if Pearson has got to clear up the God awful mess Erickson created at this club. Only now are we seeing the long term affect of that idiots spending spree. He has to clear out the dead wood first and who would want the likes of Pantsil St ledger Beckford ect ? Our owners are going to have to take a big financial hit and start again with lots of trust in Pearson to sort things out and prepare for next season. Don't want to sound pessimistic but we have to forget this season because promotion is not going to happen.

Wouldn't suprise me; blatently not a Pearson type player. I spoke to a Leeds fan before we signed him and he said all he has is pace and nothing else apart from a big time attitude and a shocking first touch. Would seem he was correct even tho I didn't believe him at the time.

If it's permanent and not a loan then fine. We haven't played to his strengths, but his poor touch and passing leads to so many broken down attacks you can only carry him for so long.

People slagged off waghorn for his performances after NP left (me included) but I don't think he would have contributed any less than Beckford has.

Add the fact that Nugents goals have usually come when Beckford isn't playing, does his inclusion take something from Nugents game?

If beckford leaves I think Maynard would be his perfect replacement !! Why don't we just send Schlupp on loan and buy Jelavic, Sharp and maynard !! Just a thought ?

I'm not sure about this. I think given a bit more time and some more starts he will find his goalscoring boots. People go on about managers being given time to settle in and put their mark on a team, well, isn't it fair that players get the same? Not saying he has been great, cos we all know he hasn't been. Just think he needs a little more time.

I can think of quite a few more players I'd rather leave us than him.
