You're entitled to your opinion, but please keep your negative opinion to yourself.

So you're only allowed certain opinions?

Corky; no. I said you're entitled to your opinion but please keep them to yourselves. If you "support" Leicester City having a constant negative opinion of our players and team well that's isn't supporting is it?! Getting behind the lads etc is what id call being a "fan/supporter". Yeah we all get down etc because we're not beating everyone 4/5-0. But it's hardly like we're in Coventrys shoes is it? I suppose I meant to say some people's views are a bit warped for saying how inconsistent and unpredictable this league is, if we have a good Christmas then we'll be ok, if not - then you can be as negative as you like :P

Some of you are fickle beyond recognition. We're still in touch, we're playing shit, and STILL in touch. If we had a run of 8/10 games we'll be fine. But saying we're an abysmal side/shower of shit/turning on players is absolute bullshit. If you believe that, go ****ing support Man United. You're entitled to your opinion, but please keep your negative opinion to yourself. Up the City.

That may be.

But the top clubs in the table are pulling away and the ones at the bottom have caught up in the meantime.

Meanwhile, our own engine keeps stuttering and will keep on stuttering for a while, because we didn't allow the person in charge enough time to implement a new system and are now faced with essentially starting from scratch again.

As much as I'd love to see us stringing a series of good results together, with the mess and the dysfunctional patterns that have popped up this season so far, I can't see it happening.

No, we get down because for all the talk (from inside the club) about how we need to be right up there we have seriously underperformed. People are going to be negative. It's about expectations. If the target was just top six then we aren't far away, but it seemed as though the aim was first or second, and we are well away from that.

Up the City.

Nobody with any sense is saying that...... ;)

I know I'm pretty critical but at the present times only 2 things really bother me......

Firstly, we have (for the time being anyway) a ridiculously strong squad for this division yet for some reason all our players bar Schmeichel, Peltier, Konchesky, Bamba and Nugent have either played well below their (known) best or have barely featured. We may only be a handful of points off the playoffs but given our resources that is really poor.

Secondly, I expected to see an immediate improvement in our play with NFP's return, apart from a bit of fight in the first couple of games that really has not happened. He does not appear 'minded' to do much about it at present, he is hanging on for January and I expect to see big changes, both in and out.

If NFP's restructuring goes according to plan I can see us having a storming second half to the season, but he is gambling a lot on getting it right in January.

Going to be interesting.......

In hindsight although our aim was automatic promotion I never thought we could achieve it, Sven didn't understand this division. We talked the talk from the owners down to the players but we have not walked the walk.

Either way, we're underachieving at the moment. Can Nige turn it round? I've no idea so I'm going to sit back and see. I'm certainly not going to fret about it.

think maybe beckford could have come good but only if we play the way he likes and tbh i cant see pearson doing this

on a positive note if this is true then the players who think they are here just for a easy ife and fat paypacket may think again now that if they dont pull their socks up they will be gone no matter how big they think they are.

tbh not many players we have will move to a club who will pay the wages we have been paying so they aint gonna like that.

I genuinely don't get how people can't see the potential Beckford has.

He scored ten at Everton last season and his league record for Leeds is 72 in 116. Granted at least half of that was in league 1 but he scored heavily in consistent seasons in League 1, did the same in his first championship season and then went off to Everton.

He has been pretty poor for us but had been improving recently, and despite our midfield being really poor and not creating anything he still gets slammed.

Beckford isn't the same type of player Nugent is, he needs the service and then he'll do the rest.

I'll be really disappointed if this does happen, because you can bet your bottom dollar that he'll end up banging them in at this level.

When is it ever not with Leicester.

Errrrr...... Now....... :(

http://www.guardian....l?newsfeed=true

On the 12th day of Christmas the Rumour Mill gave to me Leicester ready to ditch Bruno Berner, Michael Johnson, Gelson Fernandes and Michael Ball in January clear-out

They are the easy ones to call, I feel there will be at least a couple more..... :dunno:

Same here. Feel like we may be in the minority though!

As I have said elsewhere, I do not think Beckford has done much wrong, he is simply the wrong player for us, quite possibly the right player for someone else....... :dunno:

Shame....... :/

With the right players Beckford would be good for us. I just don't see him as a Nigel Pearson type of player. NP likes players that work for the team. Nugent shows that work ethic and with the right foil, he is gonna bang in 20 goals. What we need is a more mobile Steve Howard type that Nugent can run off. If Beckford does go then that's what we need to replace him with.

Thing is.... With wingers, Beckford would get more chances, the service from the Midfield just isn't that good a the moment

he is a quality player, It would probably be nice if he had endless crosses to attack and plenty of chances crafted out by our dynamic midfield....Pearson likes him, if this is true I can only assume he has requested it.....

Think we're reading far too much into this. Some person on twitter who says "could". Not even any hint of certainty. I think he'll stay until at least the end of the season. He's still in the squad every week regardless of his work ethic. I personally like Beckford and would (like many others) much rather see him in the side than Howard. His best days were alongside Becchio with Leeds, so maybe thats the sort of player? I think Nugent & Beckford can do well enough but they need the effin service
