Nicobonibus Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 hmmm will have to try again at somepoint.
kingfox Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 I loaned Danny Wilson from Liverpool when I was Leicester, he was nominated for young player of the season. There are loads of good young players though, Fierro one of them and Prestia.
Nicobonibus Posted 16 February 2012 Posted 16 February 2012 does anyone know when the squad update happens?
munf1987 Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 cheer i forgot i already got ross Barkley.. and Carlos Fierro never can get a bloody work permit!!! Erick Torres (i think thats how you spell his first name). plays at same club as fierro. With Fierro just keep going back in for him when the deal falls through.
JoeyB Posted 17 February 2012 Author Posted 17 February 2012 i can't get into this game anymore, think the time is coming when i think i'm growing out of football manager
AjcW Posted 17 February 2012 Posted 17 February 2012 Blitzing the champ with Middlesborough. I highly recommend loaning Kieran Gibbs, Carl Jenkinson, Shola Ameobi, Jamie Ness and John Fleck
Fox92 Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Been on a great run this season with Leicester, I have even made the final of the Europa League (set to play Shakthar) which is a great achievement - beat Athletico Madrid, Roma and Rangers to get there. Got this young striker up front. He is called Jack Rodgers, aged 22. Signed him from Manchester City for 2million and he has scored 45 goals in 51 games in all comps. His strike partner is Andy Carroll who I signed for free - contributed with a decent 16 goals in all comps as well.
shen Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 End of third season and I have a £95mil budget with Leicester (wage budget included)
James18 Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 After 5 years I've finally got West Brom into the Champions League. Had 4 very average season finishing 11th twice and 9th twice whilst reaching the domestic cup mid stages every season then going out, but this my 5th season was incredible. Made big changes over the summer and ended up finishing 3rd in the Prem and winning the League Cup. Lost out in the final of the F.A Cup to Arsenal though which was a shame. Strange how you can go from being average to so good in 1 season. Long way to go though if I'm going to finish top. Man City pretty much smash everyone. Have an amazing strikeforce that scored over 80 goals in the season. Mbaye Niang and Lenny Nangis are must buys. Both early 20's and both already in the top 5 best strikers in the league. Niang being top goalscorer this season

I have finished 6th with Leicester in the Prem for the last 4 years and need to get some real quality to compete with Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea...
James18 Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 Only ever signed one player that's cost me over 10 million and that's my keeper. I recommend (if they're on your game)... The two Iv'e already mentioned Khaled Ameur Luis Guilherme (Probably the best keeper in the world) Ciaran Clark Jack Robinson (Probably the best left back in the world) Gerard Morency Gaston Ramirez Lorenzo Tassi Daniel Sturridge Adryan All leading premier league stars for me and all my scouts and assistants have very high ability judging, so they know what they are on about. Hoped that helped.
Dan Posted 20 February 2012 Posted 20 February 2012 This is becoming too easy, I've won 44 out of 54 competitive games this year with Napoli, I've got £48mil free, I've won my last 19 league games on the bounce, in the Italian Cup final and Champions League final, I've got a youth forward who's bagged over 60 and the team over 120, I've bagged 106 goals. Too. Easy. Think I need to challenge myself a bit more now, this team's unstoppable and is only getting better. This is on 11.
munf1987 Posted 21 February 2012 Posted 21 February 2012 You still got cavani? I brought him for my spurs team and in the 2nd season he scored for fun, injuries are holding him back at the moment though and fierro and erick Torres are starting to shine
FoxesFan100 Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Juventus just bid £24million for Yaya Sanogo, I bought him for £2million. The problem is he's my best striker and scores loads of goals, but its a lot of money they offered, i dont know if there are any other strikers who can score 58 goals in a season. I'm confussed

I'm confussed Lots out there to choose from, Fierro has 15 in 18 games for my spurs team and hes still only 19yrs old. I bought Simel Vrsalijko for a million in the 1st season and then my board accepted a bid of £10m from liverpool in the 3rd season. I have 2 class rb's in him and walker and the club are in a good position. Currently have a few mil in the bank towards the end of the 3rd season. I still have 35m to spend which i havent to keep the books balanced and still 60k on wage to spend. Just can't understand why they would accept the bid and to a rival. You'll find a striker to replace him, i had sturridge on my leicester game and he scored 30 a season
Ozwin Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 Am I being thick as shit or does this game not add up total career goals/appearances/assists etc? In History it shows you the individual season records but only takes into account league goals and assists etc. If you click the little dot on the left then at the bottom it tells you all the competition records but you have to add them all up to get career statistics which is bollocks. I want to know how many goals per appearances my players have compared to legendary players damnit, how have they not included something like this before now?
Tincy Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 Just took over at Everton, really enjoying it, currently sitting 5th, bought in a few players but god i need a striker have about 7 mill to spend any reccomendations??

I'm confussed If you've got a tactic that get's 58 goals out of Sanogo, you can probably get any half decent striker to score a truckload. However, unless you've signed a great regen on the cheap, you're likely to part with and equal amount of money or more for a better replacement. It's odd only the league stats are shown.
Tincy Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 What season, what type of striker? in first season, jan transfer window, need a poacher.
shen Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 in first season, jan transfer window, need a poacher. The usual suspects are Sanogo, Fierro, Torres, Paloschi and Christian Benitez should be available for £7mil tops. All apart from the latter will improve immensely too.
Dan Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 I wouldn't sell Sanogo for £24mil if he's got you 58 goals in a season. Cavani's 28 on mine, he's got me a similar number and I'm not selling him for under £70mil.
Dan Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 Anthony Annan's been a good servant for my Napoli side but he's like 29 and his stats are declining, think it's time for him to take a back seat. Going to go and sign Yann M'Vila I reckon.
Darkon84 Posted 24 February 2012 Posted 24 February 2012 in first season, jan transfer window, need a poacher. DARWIN QUINTERO Yes I meant to use caps there
