I'd be happier with just loaning a couple of kids from Premier League clubs. It's cheap, less risky, Pearson's team have a proven track record of bringing in decent youngsters and he can address the team properly in the summer rather than splurging another ten million on four players with similar pedigree to Nugent, Beckford, Danns and King - all of whom are struggling at the moment.

I'd rather we did that than carry on spending over the odds, but it's impossible because we don't have a scouting system. I have been calling for them to sort it out for ages to no avail, leaving the only option to buy overpriced domestic money influenced rubbish. Sven went down that route in the summer and look where it's got us. Pearson has no contacts, I have no inside info but I'd bet Mandaric was behind the signing of Tunchev. The Thai's have fcuked up big time appointing him, did they do no research? I don't feel sorry for them one bit here, I'm glad for the money they've invested but they deserve to lose the money they're going to lose on this one. £1 million a year contract
Dan Posted 15 January 2012 Posted 15 January 2012 Which is a fair point and I believe these young Premier League loanees would be able to almost extend our transfer window. We've only had two loanees this season, so we should be fine there. I just don't see where things will go right for us.

But we are seriously getting worse game by game yesterday was unforgivable lacklustre display from a bunch of overpaid morons. Gallagher wellens and king are simply not good enough and Nugent has been far from impressive in recent weeks. Mills is terrible and shouldn't be captain, tunchev clearly isn't fit and backs out of challenges. Dyer works hard but is a limited player. I don't know where we go from here. Sharps turned us down but we need midfielders , and a centre half. One up front at home wtf !!!!

So maybe we have pulled out of the deal, or Sharps reps might agree to our offer?

It is well documented that Tunchev was scouted by Steve Walsh.
