Ben Marshall winger from Stoke City

There are always options but I feel we are limited by the fact that we do not have a striker who can hold the ball up and play up front on his own.

That limits us to 4-4-2 or maybe 3-5-2. Neither are ideal the way we play, and in most cases that is down to our ability to anchor central midfield, which we have been unable to do all season (and before for that matter).

Get as many defenders and wingers as you want but central midfield remains the big issue, until we sort that out we will be going nowhere...... :/

Why would Nigel take him off the transfer list then? Surely you would leave him on it because now clubs thinks he staying and they might not follow up their interest

Did you actually see what he said. Someone asked Pearson if SSL had been taken off the list and he just said "yeah why not". Hardly the most convincing reply is it! SSL also said in the paper today that he and Pearson agreed to just take it a week at a time. Again, hardly convincing.

Hillarious how so many people are going mad about signing him having probably never watched him more than twice.

It highlights just how desperate we are for a winger. lol

I'd probably get half a bar on if we had a fee agreed for Joe Hammill.

Brilliant, looks a very good player.

Hope we don't get Cotterill as our other supposed winger though, don't rate the guy at all.

Morgan and Marshall...Snodgrass and a surprise bid for Sordell next please Nigel :fc:

I dont think we'll have a cat in hell's chance of getting Sordell; Have to admit he looks a prospect.

West Ham have been linked, we have the money so that is my big wish for tomorrow.

Highly doubtful, but with Pearson you never know :)

Morgan - played for Forest team finishing in the championship top 6 regularly, was in team of the year = shit

Marshall - Played for Sheff Wed in league one = Amazing

I find this place confusing at times.

if a teams currently winning then obviously ALL players there are great, if a teams currently losing then ALL players there are shite..

hence we win a couple of games and the promotion threads appear, lose one and its relegation n sack the board..

no middle ground for us lol
