marbelladave Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 There are always options but I feel we are limited by the fact that we do not have a striker who can hold the ball up and play up front on his own. That limits us to 4-4-2 or maybe 3-5-2. Neither are ideal the way we play, and in most cases that is down to our ability to anchor central midfield, which we have been unable to do all season (and before for that matter). Get as many defenders and wingers as you want but central midfield remains the big issue, until we sort that out we will be going nowhere......

Someone asked Pearson if SSL had been taken off the list and he just said "yeah why not". Hardly the most convincing reply is it! SSL also said in the paper today that he and Pearson agreed to just take it a week at a time. Again, hardly convincing.
