dannythefox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 I hope we get him and I love the fact Pearson's is building a team with young players in it.
Number 6 Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Top of the priority list for me. Can't see Stoke turning down £600k+ when they'd lose him on a free in the summer.
Cropwellfox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Top of the priority list for me. Can't see Stoke turning down £600k+ when they'd lose him on a free in the summer. They would get something from a tribunal but you are right in that they would prob accept a figure if they offered a sun which is likely to be more than a tribunal would pay out.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Seems like this is happening. lets hope so
ScouseFox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Can't say I've ever heard of him or seen him play, but he's young and he's a winger. Two decent qualities already. And his record at Wednesday seems decent. Not too expensive either. Seems alright.
Ric Flair Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 does he play on the right or left wing? Either, he's ambidextrous
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Either, he's ambidextrous does that mean he is good at getting out of straight jackets aswell . . . . .
stourbridgefox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 I thought it meant he was both male and female?
Jimbo Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Either, he's ambidextrous I don't know about that, but he certainly can use both feet
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 http://www.dailystar...Marshall-again/ Lets hope this one comes off if he is as good as Sheff Weds fans think (which im sure he is)
Proud_Fox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 With alot of teams playing on tuesday which is deadline day Nigel needs to move fast as the other clubs will be more focused on the game
Jobyfox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 With alot of teams playing on tuesday which is deadline day Nigel needs to move fast as the other clubs will be more focused on the game I've no idea whether we'll sign him or not, but one thing I am sure about is this won't be a factor.
Ric Flair Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 I've no idea whether we'll sign him or not, but one thing I am sure about is this won't be a factor. I think it could be you know! We're lucky that we play on Wednesday, but teams playing on Tuesday will want to prepare for the match and bids for players will be unwelcome. Managers won't want the hassle of having to look to replace players when they've got a game that day, it's a headache. Luckily Marshall's nowhere Stoke's first team so it shouldn't effect him but it might with other players we're interested in! I can see us having to rely on a few loans after the window has shut.

I'm not buying it. These transfers often appear to be last minute deals, but usually people have been working on them for quite some time. They only don't go through earlier as people are weighing up their options or, more precisely, keeping them open. They're also as much about chairman, directors of football, secretaries and legal people etc. etc. as they are football playing staff. I really don't see how an entire transfer strategy is going to be derailed by preparation for one game, but I'm happy to agree to disagree.
Libertine Dream Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Marshall, Morgan and 1 more before deadline for me
mr whippy Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Either, he's ambidextrous I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.
MPH Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 does that mean he is good at getting out of straight jackets aswell . . . . . Should be able to get away from Thracian, then.
thybluefox Posted 29 January 2012 Posted 29 January 2012 Apparently Wednesday are set to sign 2 before the end of play Tuesday, hoping this guy isn't one of them.
