How about, we haven't yet had a bid accepted by Stoke City?

Close it fool.

I don't understand what you mean by that.

Why am I a fool for understanding why we haven't yet signed this player. i.e.no bid has been accepted?

Not even made the bench for Stoke today

Had a quick look online and he's never even played for Stoke. And having a quick look at games where they've played a second string he hasn't made the bench in those. So I'm not sure that not making the squad today really means that much.

He's keen to sign apparently. 1st bid was rejected, the 2nd went in yesterday. Will know more tomorrow.

Hopefully he does sign, i still would like another winger to compete with him and Dyer.

Maybe we would be best looking in the loan window for that

thanks Bert, sounds promising, just because were on a roll the players still need healthy competion to keep them on their toes (Wellens has improved since signing Drinkwater, im sure Gally/Dyer would step it up a notch if Marshall signed

David Cotterill?

David Cotterill?

Nigel did say today he was still considering offering him a contract. Apart from Marshall the rumours about us signing a winger have gone dead. I wonder if Nigel will try 1 more time for Cameron Stewart

In the Merc, Pearson said that he was still considering Cotterill but that he "hadn't been with us for the last few days" - maybe he's on trial elsewhere? Certainly doesn't seem that keen does he?
