Suppose it depends what you're willing to offer with him never being tested at Championship level. Percy has just said that we have a new target, whether that be a replacement for Ben or a new central midfielder, who knows!

Without him we would not exist. Last season in January he gave Alan Irvine £1m+ to spend, he bought 4 players and only 2 of them turned out to be good. This season he is a bit less keen to throw money at it (still given Megson a fair bit though) but could also be due to the court case he is currently involved in! Not going to complain if we end up with the money you seem to have!

When we were in league 1 and won the league he made a £14 million loss that year due to keeping the clubs high championship wage structure and then secured us a great takeover deal once we were back in the Championship so have always respected him highly myself. Cocked up abit of the manager side with Martin Allen and Nigel Pearson when he was on the way out but in all left us in a much better state than we were when he took over

The only way that would keep him out of the game on Saturday, is being cup tied. If he isn't registered before Saturdays game then he won't be able to play in the replay, providing that happens.
