MikeyT Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Reports floating around that he's been sacked from QPR?? SkyGraemeBailey Graeme Bailey Neil Warnock has parted company with Queens Park Rangers.
SMX11 Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Story of his career, not quite good enough for the top flight. He did have decent spell at Notts County and got them to the first division but he got sacked. Think he will retire now.
Bugg Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 I don't even see the surprise. He's spent a fair amount of money and look at where they are in the league table, also, his attitude towards cup competitions is disgraceful.
Happy Fox Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Decent manager at this level, I dare say if NP gets the sack the Thais should look at him as the man to get us promoted.
Libertine Dream Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Decent Manager. QPR fans are reacting like alot of LCFC fans when Sven was sacked. Some, who were glad when Fernandes took over, now want him to go. Some people on here vilified the owners as an over-reaction.
Adster Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Feel for the bloke. But he's a cock so actually I don't.
Schlupp Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Shit manager,2 points from 25 says it all.I hate him but I bet he makes a great cup of tea.
Jimothy Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Warnock has a Championship mentality, he's never a Premier League manager. Plus he's a complete ****, so he deserve the sack for that reason alone.
Bugg Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Absolutely disgraceful decision. Ridiculous. What's disgraceful about it? Tony Fernandes has invested a considerable amount of money for Warnock to build his team, Wright-Phillips, Barton etc. will not be on a pittance, and for the amount spent he hasn't even got them into midtable. In fact, they are relegation candidates as it stands. Actually, come to think of it, weren't you one of those who constantly slammed Sven for spending a considerable amount and doing nothing. Warnock is the exact same in this situation, what makes it different?
Corky Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Absolutely disgraceful decision. Ridiculous. Look at the resources he had compared to Lambert and Rodgers. Lambert has eight and Rodgers six more points than Warnock had. Rangers should be the highest placed of the promoted sides but they aren't doing well enough.
Jimothy Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 What's disgraceful about it? Tony Fernandes has invested a considerable amount of money for Warnock to build his team, Wright-Phillips, Barton etc. will not be on a pittance, and for the amount spent he hasn't even got them into midtable. In fact, they are relegation candidates as it stands. Exactly. He's spent a lot more than the other two promoted teams and look where QPR are, one point above the drop zone, whilst the other two sit in mid-table. Money doesn't buy success, but it should really be a big help towards it. It's why the Thai sacked Sven, they didn't give him £10m to end up in the same position as last season, it's the same for Fernandes, he hasn't ploughed millions in to get relegated.
kingfox Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Yes he is a ****, but he is a bloody good manager, he knows what he is doing despite all his moaning. If he hadn't said the things about us, then I would of happily welcomed him as our manager. Weird decision, if any manager should be sacked it should be Kean or Coyle. Disgraceful QPR, disgraceful.
Fox92 Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Feel for him. He gets a team promoted and then this. Yes he has spent more than other managers but they are no worse than Wigan, Wolves, Blackburn etc. Like Warnock as well, his character will be missed.
