AjcW Posted 5 May 2012 Posted 5 May 2012 I get the feeling Smuts is currently balls deep in one of the stevenage players and we wont hear from him for some time...

Ozwin Posted 5 May 2012 Posted 5 May 2012 I know there were 38k at Hillsborough today but did anyone else think the pitch invasion was a bit, I dunno, beneath them?
Lamby Posted 5 May 2012 Posted 5 May 2012 Anyone see Yann's goal on FLS? Amazing, just amazing, could be a fluke but ****ing hell it was good/funny

I am Rod Hull Posted 6 May 2012 Posted 6 May 2012 I`v always preferred Weds over Utd (apart from their Megson period). Great following, I can see them being up and around the P/O places next season.

Same here - not sure why, but I've always liked Wednesday. I thought they looked pretty impressive from the highlights on the FLS last night. Glad to see them back on the up again. Good luck to the owls, except when they play us, obviously.
General Smuts Posted 6 May 2012 Author Posted 6 May 2012 I get the feeling Smuts is currently balls deep in one of the stevenage players and we wont hear from him for some time... You weren't far off. I wandered into the pub next to the ground and ended up in the players end of season awards stood next to Scott Laird's missus. Met Darius Charles and Stacy Long on the way to the same pub before the game as well. Quality day out. Already had to apologise to my Dad as I won't be making it back to Leicester for his birthday on Friday now. My head hurts This. Really think we have a chance with the amount of play off experience in the squad, mentally I think Boro will have the edge and whoever wins in our semi final will definately go up.
leicesterisme Posted 6 May 2012 Posted 6 May 2012 Well done Sheffield Wednesday, it is good to have proper clubs in this division again, the Doncaster's, Barnsley's of this world don't deserve to be in this league, my tip for the playoffs is going to be Huddersfield. What a ridiculous thing to say, of course they do , they earnt their place in the Championship through being promoted. They may not have as much fans as Sheffield Wednesday, so what? Look at Wigan. Just because teams have more fans than others they don't have a given right to be in a higher division than them.
Ozwin Posted 6 May 2012 Posted 6 May 2012 Momentum is the key when you come up from League 1, I think Wednesday may struggle if they don't fill the gaps left by Antonio and that other one who always seems to score when I see them play. Charlton on the other hand will probably smash the league with Kermorgant getting 30 or something while we struggle for mod table again.

Might have been an option at the end of the loan. And surely we've got the most momentum being the form team in the division and undefeated in 14?
Fox92 Posted 6 May 2012 Posted 6 May 2012 Went out around town last night, and all Wednesday fans were out. One of my mates, who follows Wednesday, said to me "remember when we beat you 1-4, and 1-3 which sent you down?"... It's started already, and the season has only just ended!
bluesbrothers Posted 6 May 2012 Posted 6 May 2012 I'd rather Stevenage or Huddersfield go up, just because I want to go somewhere new on an away day (stevenage) and think Huddersfield's ground is bloody gorgeous.
