WE ARE GOING UP SAY WE ARE GOING UP!

Possible, but I see them failing in the playoff semi's

I see the Valley was packed today.

18,539.

We've sold out every ticket in every home stand and half the away (so about 26,000) end for the trophy presentation game on May 5th.

The fact that that's a proud boast says it all. I'm expecting the flyer through my door any day inviting me to come to the valley next season

To see big clubs like Leicester and Leeds in action!

Is Stevenage finish 6th (or whoever, Notts County or Carlisle etc) I hope Wednesday finish 3rd and you beat them.

Hoping they stay down.

Congratulations to Charlton though. Be interesting to see how Powell does next season in the Championship. Hope Kermorgrant plays against us at the King Power just to see everyone's reaction.

To finish 6th they have to beat United next week.. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Which means if we win and United don't win they we're back in second!

Nah, you'll get flyers from West Ham. They were flyering for like "see 2 matches for just £50" or something like that all around South East London and Kent, crap adveritising tbh

Michael Morrison in League One Team of the Year.

Congratulations.

Always liked Morrison. Thought he was good for us, solid, very good in the air and versatile. Didn't want him to leave but it happened.

Well done Charlton and Morrison.

I actually did get a flyer from West Ham but it seemed to make some solid points about reasons to go and see them. You know, reasons like watching West Ham? I'm not a Hammers fan, but they are a good club who are currently flip flopping between some very good and very poor football. At least their marketing focussing on their product.

I find it embarrassing on Charlton's behalf that their marketing (and you have to admire their persistence) efforts consistently referenced other teams' superstars coming to the Valley - big games at the Valley and the fact it was the cheapest way to watch premiership football. I mean kudos in a way - but you're marketing yourself to a certain sort of fan. I realise this is a bit snobby etc, but you just get the rentafans and its been at the cost of clubs like Gillingham and Maidstone United.

The fact that WHUFC sent ONE flyer out which offered a deal on some tickets, even though they are selling out very often, with the marketing concentrating on what West Ham is all about is really not comparable with Charlton begging me to go to the Valley so I can watch the opposition. Whatsmore, they'll send a bus to the area to take me to the game and I can get the lot for about £15. Never liked Carl Leaburn or Clive Mendonca.

Don't get me wrong, what Charlton are doing is commendable in a way, but you're not a big club. You're stadium is filled (haha - well sometimes) mainly with schoolkids (free tickets) and disinterested chaps from the medway towns/Maidstone with no other feasible football option than the Gills who don't want to go shopping with the missus on a Saturday.

Also - I remember Maidstone being awash with Charlton shirts when you were in the premiership - but I don't remember the last time I saw a Charlton shirt in town, I really don't.

I'll be taking advantage of the cheap bus though when Leicester come to town next year. I'll wear LCFC colours too. Presumably most of your lot will just assume its the 3rd kit they haven't rushed out to buy yet.

I really wanted to be able to answer that I can't be arsed.

Next time Charlton send out their pathetic flyers, I will scan and post it.

If Leicester did similarly I'd genuinely cringe.

I got 2 West Ham flyers <_<

What's wrong with the occasional promotion and distrubution of marketing products, it creates more income and may increase the fan base slightly. Nowt wrong with that.
