wolfgang amadeus Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Seems a pretty sensible signing especially if Dyer's on his way out.
Leicfox Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 A free agent who is still only 24yrs old but definitely needs to settle at a club before his career passes him by. He has the ability to be a really good Championship player but lacks consistency big time. Maybe it's down to player confidence I'm not sure but if the right manager can get him going he'd be a very good player for any Championship team. I'd take a gamble, as long as the wages weren't to high.
Libertine Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Not shot down just totally underwhelmed because we were hoping for Stewart and Adomah. Yeh this is the only signing.
m00nie Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Put it this way - it's a free signing. We'd have nothing to lose. Give him a try at least for fvck sake! We call out for a winger, and the moment we're speculated to sign one - potentially decent - he's shot down! even if he was a top winger people would still have difference of opinions. personally i dont know who he is and so wouldnt like to judge but if people are saying hes "ok for cover" i dont get excited. as i said before think we made the mistake before of buying ok players for cover and ended up with a large squad
Leicfox Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 YES PLEASE. Snap him up... always rated him... then again I thought he was a central midfielder - obviously not I think Swansea some times played him in behind the front two.
EnderbyFox Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 And yet people thought the name signed during the summer would be. Lets not forget it was these kind of signings that got us promoted and in to the play offs last time. Hungry players with something to prove is what we need. Agree with this entirely, we have tried signing so called 'big names' and look where we are in the League This lad is only 24 so has potential.

The Padster Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 He's a winger, and therefore I am happy with this, more so with it being a free.
eye666 Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Would give him a go. Remember he was sh!t-hot on FM a few years ago...
gosfox Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Billy Sharp never hit the hight's with Sheff Utd.....Now he's one of the hottest properties in the Championship!!
steveherbe Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Would give him a go. Remember he was sh!t-hot on FM a few years ago... Thats alright then, he was good in a COMPUTER GAME!!
RowlattsFox Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 I think he'd be worth a gamble, his history suggests that he has a good impact initially before tailing off. If that impact in the second half of the season gets us promotion then it will be worth it.
LCFC FOX Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Anyone we sign I would welcome in. We just need to give them games and get behind them. If we don't well look at Beckford
Guest shearfox Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Pearson is a man that gets it right more often than not when it comes to signing players.
kam6 Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 give him a 6 month contract and let him work for a full contract...
lcfcsnow Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Pearson is a man that gets it right more often than not when it comes to signing players. That's debatable. Pearson's signings for the Championship last time in charge were: Kennedy, Kermorgant, Gallagher, Wellens, Neilson, Adjarevic, Weale, Brown, N'Guessan, Solano Only Gallagher and Wellens were a success and the majority want rid now. The stand out players he brought in were always on loan.

Simo86 Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 That was with out no money and they were all free transfers? now he has money Gallagher and Wellens both cost around a million though
ealingfox Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Plus a few of them were decent if not great. Weale, Brown, Solano and N'Guessan did good jobs in the play-off season, and we all know how decent Kermorgant was.
paddy Agyemang Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Good player excellent value (£0) also knows where the net is Worth 3 million at 1 point of his career
s11nny Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 would be a decent signing imo. but if we get him I hope that the search for a winger doesn't stop there.
s11nny Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 out of interest does he play on the right, left, or both?
StanSP Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 Someone said he was a central winger earlier. I got confused.
