Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 16 January 2012 Posted 16 January 2012 This gets more depressing every day. If we are pinning our hopes on the likes of David Cotterill then we are well and truly ****ed. What is worse I keep telling myself to just ignore Leicester as there are more things in life than this bloody football club, but still I can't stop checking to see if we have signed or are on the verge of signing anyone half decent. Imagine the dissappointment I am feeling right now where the only 2 players we look remotely like signing are a crapper version of Dyer and a Conference player. ****ing spectacular Would you say Wayne Brown or Jack Hobbs are better than Bamba, Mills, Tunchev or SSL? Would you say Waghorn, Fryatt or Howard are better than Nugent or Beckford? I wouldnt, but with those players we made the PO's. Its not about quality of individuals but the quality of a team. Hell, I'd even have N'Guessan back just to have a winger. Look at Norwich last season, they had Holt, a player who failed in lower leagues with Leeds, and other similar players, whilst we had Yakubu and Kamara. You need a team at this level not a load of individuals. NP will get it right.

I agree, however as he is even weaker in the challenge than Gallagher and according to Swansea fans disappears when the going gets tough, do you really think we need another player like that?

Kitchandro Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 Unlike with Morgan, I'm not sure why people are so negative about this. I remember him being a big player for Swansea under Sousa, he and Allen destroyed us in that FA Cup game which they should have won 3 or 4-0. I wouldn't see him as the winger to pin our hopes on, but as a squad player on a free it doesn't sound bad. He's got pace, some technical skill and he can shoot, so he's miles better than Dyer. If he's kicked the ball without scuffing it 3 times in his career he's better than Dyer FFS.

Were in a mire bcoz of the lack of team work and team unity be ause sven bought personalitys! Pearsons gonna change that and bringing in a hungry winger with sonething to prove is only going to help us imo
Fox 4 Life Posted 20 January 2012 Posted 20 January 2012 My girlfriends family are huge Swans fans and they all rate Coterill, said there is no doubt he will do a job in the championship just couldnt handle the jump up to prem football. On a free I dont think we have much to lose, bit more competition in the mdifield.
