TrentFox Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 - Forest are in deep do-do's ! They were woeful. I'll get slated for this, but I don't want them to go down ! They're a good club with good support and I'd prefer them to do well. Nowhere near as well as us, mind ! - Beckford might be the ultimate confidence player ? Boo him if you want to - but remember tonight ! - Kennedy suddenly looks a tidy footballer - even out of position in a 'dead' game when he came on. - Danns HAS to play in the centre - We look good when we hit that tempo - technically good players shone. - Gallagher is a luxury we might just need to factor IN. Yes a lightweight, but a veneer of quality at times that isn't to be found anywhere else (imho) ... and I know many will not agree ! What else folks ????
boring_jester Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 leicester fans dont need any clothes (as one fan was zoomed in upon) to stay warm. their love of leicester does that.
Stuliasz Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 We look far more dynamic in midfield with Danns in there instead of King.
boring_jester Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Reid still eats all the pies. beckford and nugent works
Finnegan Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Can't agree on the Gallagher front, was the weak link again today (in an admittedly strong chain.) That he even got in the side is a miracle given his last two performances. He was better today, sure, but he didn't shine while many others did.
Guest MattP Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 King is a bigger problem than Wellens. Beckford likes the FA Cup. Forest are relegation fodder (I'm not even sure they wanted to play tonight) Consistency is very hard to achieve in football.
cc_star Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 TEAMwork is the most important thing Run your bollocks off, play with purpose, be hungry to find space & receive the ball and we'll do alright
TrentFox Posted 17 January 2012 Author Posted 17 January 2012 Reid still eats all the pies. beckford and nugent works Totally agree. I thought they were a real handful tonight and our first "pair" for ages !
sdb Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Fans are fickle idiots. Forest are woeful. Play Beckford and Nugent together. Wellens isn't useless. Danns needs to play. Our back 4/5 should be one of the best in the league. LCFC are the most inconsistent football team in the history of the game. Nigel Pearson isn't boring, or the wrong man for the job.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 EVERYONE LIGHTEN UP PRAISE EVERY PASS LOVE EVERY GOAL SUPPORT EVERY PLAYER GET BEHIND THE TEAM LOVE EVERY GAME
acooling08 Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 That we ARE good enough for the Play Offs, we just don't show it due to inconsistency.
Charl91 Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 - Beckford + Nugent should both start - We do well in Derby games! 4 - 0 vs. Derby and Forest this season and another draw vs. Forest which we should have won (with also a win vs. Cov!) Can't agree on the Gallagher front, was the weak link again today (in an admittedly strong chain.) That he even got in the side is a miracle given his last two performances. He was better today, sure, but he didn't shine while many others did. Annoyed me that he tried to shoot from range, instead of playing a fairly easy ball fowards for Beckford.
Tielemans63 Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 TEAMwork is the most important thing Run your bollocks off, play with purpose, be hungry to find space & receive the ball and we'll do alright Exactly what I was going to post. Every player worked bloody hard tonight. The other thing we learned is that (generally) we are totally different team if we score first than if we concede.
Cropwellfox Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 Danns should be in a midfield 2 every week Pearson was talking bollocks on Saturday - we do have the players to go 442 St ledger looks solid Nuge and beckford can link up Basis of a top team there for next season. Still need plenty of reinforcements
jprs1976 Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 that in my opinion is leicester best team performance of the season, showed they wanted it and to have 17 shots that more in the game than 5 champ games showed passion
trabuch Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 That properly motivated, this team can make the play offs, and that we don't need to buy big in the transfer window.
mowmacrefox Posted 17 January 2012 Posted 17 January 2012 What i have learned today is,Dont come on foxestalk and slag off the players
TrentFox Posted 17 January 2012 Author Posted 17 January 2012 That properly motivated, this team can make the play offs, and that we don't need to buy big in the transfer window. So, two or three signings to balance the squad or a headline signing to add real quality ??????
