cc_star Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Yes I know this is from Twitter, but it's a genuine agent & not one of the spoofs or someone who think they're ITK pretending to be an agent Sol Bamba could be a deadline day move to a premier league club... http://twitter.com/F...982688892628993
Ric Flair Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 I think this is very plausible, hopefully we get a ridiculous price as well.
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 I said in another thread that Blackburn were in for him, But with the ACN it's unlikely he will return for a medical and personal terms.
Mack Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 I agree and would imagine this is already well in motion, hence Pearson's upcoming signings. Bamba does not fit the Pearson Blue Print, and to be fair we have been much more solid at the back since he went to Africa.
Ric Flair Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 I said in another thread that Blackburn were in for him, But with the ACN it's unlikely he will return for a medical and personal terms. He might be allowed special dispensation, I think Ivory Coast have already qualified through to the knockout stages.
FrankieADZ Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 i think its more than possible, considering we got him for £250k i think it was...we should get a fair bit more than that. Still imo I think he'll be a big loss if he went.
marbelladave Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 I think this is very plausible, hopefully we get a ridiculous price as well. Explains the Morgan deal as well........ Love Sol dearly but we have (to my surprise) been more solid without him. For a decent price I guess it would be good business.......
Dan Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 It'd be a shame but we all know he's not NP's type of defender really. Talented player but doesn't seem very good in a team.
topharry123 Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Done alright for the club but without him we have looked great at the back. Wouldn't mind him going for a good price. We should get back at least 4 times what we paid for him assuming 250k is what we paid.
AjcW Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Newcastle deadline day after they fail with Marriapa who has crazily been linked with Arsenal today!
HangerLCFC Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 I said in another thread that Blackburn were in for him, But with the ACN it's unlikely he will return for a medical and personal terms. the club that wont him can send medical staff and negotiation teams out to him
Happy Fox Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 B We should really milk it. No less than 5m No chance at best we can hope for £3-4m
city1993 Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 I love Sol Bamba I know he's very unnerving at the back, and we have kept 3 successive clean sheets since he's left, but he was just such a great guy! I guess it's Wes Wes Morgan! From now on? Having said that, if he goes, make sure we really get the money coming in for him, like crazy amounts! I think Blackburn, Bolton, Arsenal, or West Brom would be interested.

Corky Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 I like Big Sol and hope that if he goes we get a good price for him.
Christoph Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Unless we're getting like £3 million+ I dont see the reason in selling him. He's still got a lot he can do for the club, his contract isn't running out soon (is it?). I just feel theres still more of him to come, wit the right discipine he could become one of the greats, hes so fast and strong.
robbieLOVESthealmightylcfc Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeasssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee dont let this be true!!!!!!! :'(
Legend_in_blue Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 He's going to leave. Whoever he leaves to, he will be more of a liability than anything else, and considering we should get £3m+ for a liability we'd be mad not to take it.

Whoever he leaves to, he will be more of a liability than anything else, and considering we should get £3m+ for a liability we'd be mad not to take it. If you think Bamba's a liability, you obviously haven't seen Morgan play very often.

Nooooo.......i think that is maybe you . A bloody dyslexic parrott could speak more sense than that !!
