ScouseFox Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 LeBron James played basketball in our school hall last year. Dunno why. He's quite famous. Met shit loads of Liverpool players round by ours.
Phube Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Jet & Cobra from (the original) Gladiators at stoughton air show circa 1995ish. Numerous City players plus assorted away players (Seaman being, by far the nicest) as I waited for my gf outside Filbert St. where she was a waitress in the boxes on match days (the same job meant she once served coffee to MON ) Serge at Vue a couple of times, Neil Back in Chiquitos. Scowcroft in Saino's! Plus I scanned Walker and Elliott! But no-one really famous though...
Corky Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 I have pictures of me with a wrestler and a basketball player when they came to my middle school. I haven't a clue who they are, but they must've been famous so I'll say them, despite not knowing their names.
Jace Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 I think we need to exclude Leicester City players/managers to be honest for this thread to work because I am sure there is a long list of Leicester players we have all spoken to or met before!!
flowwolf Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Garry Glitter he was at my kids school concert.
Adster Posted 30 January 2012 Posted 30 January 2012 Legend. How? My dad met him TJs when he was a Leicester player It was a weird scenario. Last day at Filbert Street and the fans were allowed to take turf away from the ground. I was about 10/11 or so. Me and my dad waiting until the crowd died down and then went to get a piece, we spotted Gary Lineker by himself! My dad went mental and we ended up talking to him for about 10 minutes, got a photo and autograph somewhere too Was a memorable day.

Rocket-Ron Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 I once had pasta with Sigourney Weaver in New York. .... (Well she was on the table next to me). She was with a right couple of ugly looking blokes. If I had fancied her I think I could have pulled her.

Guest MattP Posted 31 January 2012 Posted 31 January 2012 How did you meet Larry David?? He's my role model. Wandering around Santa Monica a few years back and walked past him just outside the Ye Olde Head's pub...I've told the story here a few times before, I asked him if there was a new series of Curb and he lent in in pure Larry David style and said "I'll tell you two things, there will be another series of Curb your Enthusiam.....and you speak far too close to people" Met Will Ferrell playing blackjack the day before Mayweather fought Hatton in Vegas, was talking about baseball with him for about 5 minutes just thinking he was a normal American guy, nice bloke, was only when he left the table the dealer and all the other players started saying "OMG" etc....I didnt have a clue. They all thought I was with him.
