I have left over puff pastry from my pie and the only fruit I have is bananas, might try n make a tarte tatin with them and a bit of brown sugar and cinnamon. Oh god yes, if you haven't already done this make the caramel with some rum!

Turtles Head Posted 17 January 2015 Posted 17 January 2015 Slow roast ham hock on boulangere potatoes tonight. Just sat the hock on thinly sliced potatoes, layered with caramelised onion, garlic, thyme & chicken stock. In the oven, low heat for 7 hours. Stunning, all for about £3
