Ian Stringer Posted 6 February 2012 Author Posted 6 February 2012 Hi Ian, Where did you think we would finish at the start of the season? Top Filbert Street or the Walkers (King Power)? Filbert Street
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 Hi MK, Great roaad system by the way, H3 is my favourite. Pearson fell out with Hoos, an enquiry came in and he left. I felt like he had created a great 'team' and would have really pushed on the following season. It was a shame but 2 strong characters, something had to give. Cheers for replying ian, top stuff
Ian Stringer Posted 6 February 2012 Author Posted 6 February 2012 Hi Ian, I saw you walking through town today without a coat on. Are you mad? It's chuffing freezing out there! Hi syston, Need the shirt on show so everyone can see the FT logo
LCFC FOX Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 Ian could I have a cheeky follow on twitter? BradyLCFC after all I want to commentate just like you
FuriousFox46 Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 And finally... I was the last person to score a 'goal' at Filbert Street before it was closed for demolition. Jealous?
Simmo86 Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 Hi Ian, What was your best and worst memory of Filbert Street?
StanSP Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 Been far from dull. Much better than the shower of shit on show at Anfield tonight!
Ian Stringer Posted 6 February 2012 Author Posted 6 February 2012 Also, very sorry to Talking Ballsna and Bentleys Roof. Get on here in the next 15 minutes and ask away if you're interested. I flipped a coin and FT won, willing to offer a service to all though if the demand is there. We all support the same team remember. Talking Balls and Bentleys Roof Very sorry, sausage fingers

acooling08 Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 Ian, What were your first impressions of Marshall on Saturday?
Ian Stringer Posted 6 February 2012 Author Posted 6 February 2012 Hi Ian, What was your best and worst memory of Filbert Street? Best was Tony James against Oxford, that and seeing Lineker at Gordon Banks' testimonial. Worst, Wycombe at home, never felt like that after a game
gazfox9 Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 I've sat not far from Emma Rigby of Hollyoaks fame a few times recently, is Matt Mills back with her?

One Arm Babba Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 How would we adapt if/when promoted? Budget? Ambitions?
PegguyArphexad Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 Ian, Firstly, I enjoy your work. Thank you very much! Do you have any opinion on money and football? I.e. do you think it has ruined it or diminished some of the passion and loyalty in the game? Obviously you have player interaction and have now been associated with Leicester over a couple of seasons. Have you seen any great change in some of the old guard after bumper pay increases? Also do you think that players should live within a certain mileage of the city they play for? It seems odd to me that some of our squad travel a fair distance to come to training. Do you think this can cause fractures in the team spirit? Many thanks.
Ian Stringer Posted 6 February 2012 Author Posted 6 February 2012 Ian, What were your first impressions of Marshall on Saturday? Liked him. Remember all Nigel's signings will have a good attitude, it's a prerequisite How would we adapt if/when promoted? Budget? Ambitions? You'd hope stability and survival but fear Europe. All about expectations isn't it?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 Ian, Whats been what has been the best and worst moment for you whilst commentating on City over the last 4 years?
Smudge Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 Hi Ian, Are you welcomed as part of the club by the team and staff or an outsider looking in?
Simmo86 Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 Best was Tony James against Oxford, that and seeing Lineker at Gordon Banks' testimonial. Worst, Wycombe at home, never felt like that after a game Same
Webbo Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 Thanks for coming on here Ian. It's been very entertaining.
ScouseFox Posted 6 February 2012 Posted 6 February 2012 Best and worst grounds you've visited with City? Credit to you Ian for sticking around so long and answering almost everything, decent bloke, entertaining read.

Too many big time individuals and some behind the scenes think they're the big un, we're all human beings, be nice, it's easy and don't let money cloud your personality, really annoys me. Not all are that way but I do think the upper levels have too many big timers. 22 blokes kicking a ball, get on with it
