Ian Stringer Q+A

Hi all,

Thanks for showing interest in this thread, I appreciate your time.

The idea is to answer as many questions as I can related to LCFC (or me if you are inclined to ask) I'll try and answer questions as quickly as I can, please forgive any spolling and greamer.

I’m happy to accept feedback and criticism, no problems with that but if you could kindly think before posting any abuse I would appreciate it.

Clearly there will be some things I can’t talk about, for that I apologise but I will try and offer as much insight as I can.

There’s a small catch.

As you may be aware, I’m running The London Marathon for the Leicester City Foxes Foundation this April. Please text:-

TDXA77 £2 to 70070

To kindly donate £2 to the fund. My Just Giving page – www.justgiving.com/foxesfoundation - is currently on £2616.50. When that increases by £100 then we’ll kick off the Q+A.

Also, the Foxes Talk logo will appear next to Nigel Pearson’s face on my shirt which will be seen all over the place so will show everyone your support for the charity, everyone’s a winner.

I understand not everyone can afford £2 but if you can, PLEASE TEXT NOW AND DON’T WAIT FOR EVERYONE ELSE, COME ONE….

Regards,

Ian Stringer

Is it REALLY all Wellens fault ???

That was a joke. and i can't believe i actually clicked the link!
I love that thing, but now you do know what it stands for. On a serious note I do think it is a shame that some people wasted the chance by asking really stupid questions when we had an opportunity to get some insight into the club. The odd stupid question was quite funny, but having read the thread it could have been a much more insightful session had people not been so eager to try and be funny. Fairplay to Stringer for taking it all in good humour, although did we really need to know about his wanking habits?

No disrespect to the guy but in truth he was able to tell us very little other than his own opinion.

What the feck is a journalist gonna tell us about LCFC that isn't already either on the internet or in the Mercury? If it were a Q + A with someone actually connected to the club I would have saved my questions about My Little Pony.

Miserable fecker.

I liked your question about My Little Pony, but some of the others were a bit unnecessary, it wasn't just you I was referring to, at least yours were an attempt at humour as opposed to some comments that were just banal drivel.

I certainly think he could have been pressed a bit further on some of the more interesting questions, I also think he could be someone who could back some of the fan schemes, such as getting a singing section, moving the kop, etc

Don't forget he speaks to NP every week, we could have asked him to ask a few questions from the fans.

I liked the idea of getting some of us lot on the radio, has he been in touch with wellyfox(I think it was him) about that?

Nonsense.. Stringer was good stuff to be fair but, do you think he was really gonna answer anything that was particularly juicy? Babs asked the best question IMO.

Smuts a funny bloke and made the thread more readable.

If you didn't contribute dont diss it..

Don't mind playing along with that pal. Contrary to popular belief I have a sense of humour. e-mail them to me or something. FT will have a place in my heart after this.

Ian,

If we dedicate a photoshop topic solely to you with your handsome face in uncompromising situations, can you pick the best 3 after a week?

Soz on phone so formatting all over shop. Did this ever get going?

'compromising positions' would have probably helped.
