Bert Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 lol lol lol lol lol Cheerie bye you fυcking cυnts. Wow. You're more of a bellend then I thought.
Guest MattP Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 A shame, could always see it happening though. Whyte is a moocher. I wouldnt want to see Celtic go bust either, the league becomes completely pointless without one of the Glasgow clubs.
Houdini Logic Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 I don't. It's a point I've made hundreds of times before. Anyone who thinks Celtic would never be a strong Premiership side are being very short sighted. Sure, they've got rubbish players now but that's completely irrelevant. They're a massive club and would be a windfall for any investor. The world's Ireland fetish aside, they've an enormous, loyal fanbase, fantastic facilities, a great history and an enormous reputation globally. If restrictions stopping them from qualifying for European competition through the English leagues could be negotiated they'd be a force in English football within five to ten years, easily. Hands down. I'm just not convinced on the global appeal that you and the other chap say - it could potentially happen, but it could with any club. I see the Irish appeal, but being that this is a scottish club the strongest Irish link is the hardline religious link and for that exact reason I think this would limit the appeal to some of the middle and far eastern investors. Potential? Yes Convinced? No
Finnegan Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 This is so you can wind your neck in. I'm laughing at Rangers. See? I bit when you weren't even baiting. I'M THAT GOOD.

Guest MattP Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 Name me a club with a better chance of picking up American interest in football. Maybe Celtic are the best but no one will do it. Football will never become mainstream in America, the NFL is just far too big. The time difference make it impossible as well, when we have to shift our big fights to 4am you realise the difficulty football would have.
Finnegan Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 New York City from Yorkshire. Maybe Celtic are the best but no one will do it. Football will never become mainstream in America, the NFL is just far too big. It doesn't need to dislodge the NFL (or any major American sport) to become more popular and profitable.
FoxyPV Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 See? I bit when you weren't even baiting. I'M THAT GOOD. I was going to let it go as you're clearly on your blurt but had to say something. It's alright sweetness, it only lasts for a couple of days each month

Houdini Logic Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 Name me a club with a better chance of picking up American interest in football. LA Galaxy? Like most things, if football ever did become a huge sport in America they'd completely ignore our teams and focus on their own. How many Irish/Scottish/English basketball and hockey teams do the Americans care about? They know nothing and care shit all about true heritage, they just glam it up in a typical American way
cambridgefox Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 im so pleased you two have made up,i was worried sick.

Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 Does it get boring being a massive fυcking retard? This has been over so many times - Celtic would be a force to be reckoned with if they came down south. Celtic are decent?
Finnegan Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 Not being funny but that's a pretty bollocks argument. There's not an Irish/Scottish/English basketball or hockey team of any note, is there? Or a league of any magnitude. The "EPL" is huge the world over, it's got fantastic viewing figures across all continents and the states is no exception. It may be a minority sport but it's still huge and the top European leagues are still worth a lot to them in advertising and interest. Just not really sure what's to argue against, really. Even if you disagree as to the extent of the potential I see, you've got to accept that it's there? I'm baffled by any person of sound mind - which you definitely are - that doesn't see Celtic as a great product from a "modern football" perspective, as soulless as that may be. Hell, even if we drop the America angle, go in to any sports bar in any major British city on Old Firm day and count the Celtic and Rangers shirts. Huge clubs.
I am Rod Hull Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 Celtic in the Premier League! Man U would never let this happen and risk losing half their fans.....
Finnegan Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 Celtic in the Premier League! Man U would never let this happen and risk losing half their fans..... Any excuse.
Mack Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 They want Independence from the UK. No problem... just don't come crying when all your shit jockball teams are worse than the League of Wales!

Matt Posted 13 February 2012 Posted 13 February 2012 As if it wasn't one sided enough already, I wonder who'll win the league now. The two team league has become a one team league. They want Independence from the UK. No problem... just don't come crying when all your shit jockball teams are worse than the League of Wales! They are more than welcome to it.
