Thracian Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Let's hope it's Brum. Chelsea often seem to have an extra man when they need it.
Karljohn Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 The FA cup competition rules clearly state that the away team can have 15% of the total capacity of the home teams stadium unless there are segregation issues which may be the reason why Everton got 5900, and the visiting club must request the full allocation if required within 2 days of the draw. So Blues just opted to take half of what they could have had at the bridge.
Saxondale Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Weird, I was daydreaming yesterday evening and was thinking of an away trip to Stamford Bridge. If there's any time to beat them in the cup, it's now, seeing as they're basically ****ing shit. Assuming Brum don't knock them out, of course.
trabuch Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Home draws for Everton, Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool - how fashionable!
I am Rod Hull Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 what does that make us? They are well off form and there for the taking ( that`s if they can get past the mighty Brum). Just because a load of kids still wear their shirts does not make them unbeatable, they are not the great team you may think they are. We are massive underdogs with nothing to lose, we`ll win..
NiftyFox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Chelsea have Napoli at home on that Wednesday 14th March. So probaly get Chelsea on a Sunday if we draw them.
Matt Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Chelsea have Napoli at home on that Wednesday 14th March. So probaly get Chelsea on a Sunday if we draw them. Bollocks. Saturday 3pm, Please Please.
mbmb10 Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Couldn't get a better away day since I'm based in London, Poznan before!
Happy Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Brummy fans are getting cocky and arrogant lets hope we wipe the smile of glee of their face.
Bilbo Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Does anybody know when we will find out if this is going to be played on the 17th or 18th? Also when tickets are likely to go on sale? Cheers
lcfcbaby Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Norwich fans got cocky look where it got them!
LCFC FOX Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 As Bert said on twitter I also think it will be played on the Sunday
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Ticket details won't be released until at least the 7th of march
Matt Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Brummy fans are getting cocky and arrogant lets hope we wipe the smile of glee of their face. Well some might say we are. 1) Some seem to be completly writing Birmingham off and automatically booking weekends in London. 2) Some of us (including me) are being cocky and arrogant claiming the game (Whoever it is) is winnable - Which both Chelsea and Birmingham no doubt will have the same opinion. Some of us need to take a step back and realise when they think opposing fans are being cocky and arrogant, our fans are probably doing the same.
FuriousFox46 Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 God, Birmingham fans are arrogant. You'd have thought they'd just beaten Barcelona, 25-0 in the Champions League final or something
WhenYourSmilingLCFC Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 If Chelsea do go through this will be either on tele, or kick off time changed due to police advice. If Norwich classed us as high risk, Chelsea v Leicester is verrrry high risk, plenty of history.

You have a point I think the euphoria is getting to a lot of people me included, but whoever it is will know we will give them a game
smitha Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Don't forget were high risk fans, allocation may be smaller
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 It might be on a sunday as said but they've got an away tie at manchester city on the monday
Happy Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Hopefully it is a Saturday kickoff either way, Sunday would be a nightmare transportation wise.
Buggsteam Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Well if it's Birmingham that get thru then we face them twice that week as our league game is on the 13th isn't it?
Wycombe Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Saturday I definitely wouldn't be able to go. We're taking our son on a visit day to Manchester Uni. Sunday is Mother's Day so I wouldn't be too popular to be away for the whole day. Not looking good for me
Leicesterpool Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Why not lots of different people could write letters to the club asking for the game to be played on the Saturday, because maybe Leicester could ask the Fa they would prefer to play it on a saturday.
