whitlock Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 I feel we'd have a better chance doing Chelsea away than Brum!
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Either way, it's a tough draw, but you never know.....think I might have to take a ride on the optimism bus
Lambert09 Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 If Brum manage to get through this will be a decent draw
Happy Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Either way I am going, whether it is Chelsea or Brum, this is the FA Cup
Guy Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Oh well, the wait for a Prem. side at home in this season's cup won't happen now then unless we can force a replay aganist Chellsea! I can't see Chelsea slipping up at Brum in the replay this time though, despite their indifferent form at the mo. and Brum's coming intro real form.....as footie never seems to work that simplistically! Looking like a trip to sell out Stamford Bridge then...........the curse of Schevchenko last time out in 2007 (last kick of the game in the League Cup) and then I think the curse of that Frank Le Boeuf penalty in 1997's FA Cup 5th round replay under O'Neill before that - the penalty that should never have been (Spencer Prior the victim).
darko2k7 Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Apart from maybe stoke away thats the worse draw we could get. I would rather get chelsea away than birmingham away beacuse i have loads of chelsea fans as mate so going to be plenty of banter for me .
Basingstoke Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 It was always going to be a massive ask to get to Wembley no matter who we got. I'd rather play Chelsea the Tottenham. As mush as it'll be a big ask, we will still have a chance. As said in that famous song, "Whatever will be, will be"
JonnyBoy Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 rather Chelsea way any day of the week, They're having a mare in the prem at the minute. Would be heartbreaking to lose against a championship side, i went there earlier on in the season when we lost and its was horrible. Chelsea = great away day and would rather lose to them than Brum. We play the best when we are underdogs, bring on Chelsea... i hope
purpleronnie Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Chelsea are shite.... what does that make us?
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Wouldnt mind going, but if its Chelski arent the tickets about 50 squidlers? Jeez!!!
FrankieADZ Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 who cares who we play....we'll beat either...or both if needs be
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 I fancy ourselves more at chelsea than birmingham
Karljohn Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Could really do with Chelsea, ticket allocation if they abide by competition rules will be approx 7000 whereas Brum is a shithole and will be half that, also believe we have as much chance of getting something from Chelsea. Providing we can keep Torres quiet
bluebeau Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 'twud have been good to see City at home in front of a full house, but imo we have a better chance of getting to the semis with the away draw that we have got. We seem to beat the better teams away from home.
Happy Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 I am more confident we would get a result at Brum away under NP than Sven.
LCFC_Bradders Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 If we gonna won this cup, we'll have to meet a big team soon anyway! Bring on chelsea! Camt wait to see Bamba crunch Torres! COYB <3
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Please ITV/ESPN, this NEEDS to be played on a Saturday.
clare Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 I'd love for us to get one over on Chelsea for THAT '97 replay. Arseholes.
Craig Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Chelsea away tickets would be £30 adults and £15 concessions.
Matt Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Loved Chelsea away in the Carling Cup a few years ago, one of the best away games i've been too. Chelsea or Birmingham i'm quite happy with, both very tough, but winnable. Kind of think Chelsea would be the better team to play as we like being the underdog.
