The Guvnor Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Hope its Chelski, still remember being cheated in 1997, bring the cocker nees on revenge would be sweet.
Dav Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Not bad, better at home obviously. Chelsea here we come.
Happy Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Chelsea away tickets would be £30 adults and £15 concessions. Brum would be the same wouldn't it ?
Milton Keynes Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Blues have now sold all 3,000 tickets for the club's FA Cup with Budweiser fifth round tie against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge that isn't 15% of stamford bridge is it?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Chelsea, then bring then up to the KP and pack it out!
Cropwellfox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Not a big allocation likely at Stamford bridge - brum only get c.3000 but will be a great day for those who go. More likely to get more fans at Brum I'd think.
jonthefox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Piece of piss game. We,ll walk it whoever we play.
Captain... Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Wouldnt mind going, but if its Chelski arent the tickets about 50 squidlers? Jeez!!! Wasn't that much a few years ago, iirc, I would imagine it will be a low category game, seeing as it is after Napoli at home and before Spurs at home, I don't know how exciting a match it will be to the Chelsea faithful.
ScouseFox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 We should lose both on paper, there was no point hoping for a game we should win because, err, we're probably going to end up as the worst team in the competition. We beat Norwich away, they're better than us. Personal preference would be Birmingham because I can't afford to get to London, and I think we'd have a better chance at Birmingham.
Kitchandro Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Birmingham are a Championship club. It's a more winnable game than Chelsea FGS. But, losing at Birmingham would be harder to take. I'll leave it up to fate.
Salieri Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Not the best draw, certainly wouldn't rule out Birmingham winning the replay though. Chelsea are a bit of a mess at the moment but would still prefer Birmingham over them.
Leicfox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Hoping Chelsea beat Brum, Liverpool beat Brighton and Spurs beat Stevenage....So we then are the last non top flight club left in the cup. It might bring media coverage then.
Happy Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Brum aren't that special neither is Chelsea I am confident we can get results their either way and if not then by the time the Quarter finals come we might be doing better in the league.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 I hope Chelsea beat Birmingham but everyone knows Birmingham away is hard, Chelsea not playing very well and haven't been good all season, hope for chelsea away anyone know what our allocation would be?
Matt Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Blues have now sold all 3,000 tickets for the club's FA Cup with Budweiser fifth round tie against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge that isn't 15% of stamford bridge is it? Not a big allocation likely at Stamford bridge - brum only get c.3000 but will be a great day for those who go. More likely to get more fans at Brum I'd think. You have to request the full 15% from my understanding, so perhaps Birmingham didn't request it, looking at their home games when they've been on TV Birmingham's attendances don't seem that high. Stamford Bridge has a capacity of 41,837, 15% of that is 6275. St Andrews has a capacity of 30,009, 15% of that is 4501.
lcfcbaby Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 If Birmingham beat Chelsea then we play them home in the league on the 13th and away in the cup on 17th or 18th!
Happy Fox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 What is Brum's capacity about 30,000 isn't it?
Craig Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Brum would be the same wouldn't it ? Chelsea's are set before the season. As for Brum, they're charging STH £20 for the replay vs Chelsea and £25 for non STH.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Brum to beat Chelski in the replay. We hold Brum at St Andrews. Replay at home. We win. Simples
ScouseFox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Everton took 5,900 to Chelsea in the cup last season. That was the maximum they were given.
Karljohn Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Not a big allocation likely at Stamford bridge - brum only get c.3000 but will be a great day for those who go. More likely to get more fans at Brum I'd think. Depends how many Brum wanted I guess, because it was early kick off and televised they made have only opted for 3,000. If they stick to rules then we should get 15% - which is about 6300 at Chelsea. I think thats how many we had for the Carling Cup, I doubt they regard us a big game and would expect to keep their money for a semi final.
Kitchandro Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 We'd sell whatever we're given at Stamford Bridge, hope we get 15%.
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 You have to request the full 15% from my understanding, so perhaps Birmingham didn't request it, looking at their home games when they've been on TV Birmingham's attendances don't seem that high.
