burni Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 any draw was tough but odds it will be chelsea away so a great away day. would of been nice at home but oh well
Christoph Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Not a terrible draw tbh. Chelsea are playing shit atm and I can see Birmingham beating them. Birmingham are on a winning streak but it has to slump sooner or later and we gave them a good game when we played them.
Brainy Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Oh well, we'll sell our allocation and really give it a go. So Peter Reid is part of the draw, and Everton Sunderland gets picked out. Coincidence? No. Our 3rd round draw last year was fixed then.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Chelsea are in a right state at the moment, Lets give them a real match.
Fox92 Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Whether it is Chelsea or Birmingham City, it will be a tough game.
Libertine Dream Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Not great, but Chelsea are a mess atm and Brum although dont lose at home, they don't really tear teams apart. Lets just believe we can get to Wembley.
whoareyaaa Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 it was going to be tough no matter who we got, being away aswel we always seem to play better with a mass of vocal support.
Matt Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Tough, very tough but I don't think i'm in too much denial saying it's winnable whether it's Chelsea or Birmingham.
ousefox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 If we nearly won there when they had a good team, with the likes of Carl Cort... We can do 'em!
acooling08 Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Oh well, we'll sell our allocation and really give it a go. So Peter Reid is part of the draw, and Everton Sunderland gets picked out. Coincidence? No. There were only 8 teams to draw and 3 of them were his previous clubs so it's not that unlikely is it? WE'RE GOIN TO STAMFORD BRIDGE!!
Captain... Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Chelsea have Napoli the Wednesday before, that could work to our favour if they go through, if they lose they will know the FA cup is their only chance of Silverware, I want them to still be battling away for 4th place too, the FA cup ranks well below those 2 competitions, they will have Spurs next up after us, wonder what will happen to their Man City game. If they beat Brum. To be honest I would prefer Chelsea than Brum, we would be underdogs and well up for it.
Dan Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Chelsea are in so much of a state that everyone's acting like we'll be getting them? Don't rule out Birmingham away, jesus christ. On the plus side, it'll be a top, top away day regardless.
WhenYourSmilingLCFC Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 If brum can get a draw away at Chelsea why cant we? Arguably we're better than Birmingham when we're on form.
Kitchandro Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Our 3rd round draw last year was fixed then. It may well have been
EnderbyFox Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Whoever it is, they better give us a decent fvcking allocation!
Libertine Dream Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Not great, but Chelsea are a mess atm and Brum although dont lose at home, they don't really tear teams apart. Lets just believe we can get to Wembley. On our day we can do it.
MrFox781 Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 I want chelsea away. after all the work id rather lose to chelsea then brum. but still both winnable.
lcfcsnow Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Whoever it is, don't choose the cursed yellow kit LCFC.
AdamN Posted 19 February 2012 Posted 19 February 2012 Genuinely believe that we have a better chance of beating Chelsea than Birmingham. If Chelsea continue how they are, it's likely the fans will be AVB and the team's backs and so the pressure will all be on them. Birmingham on the other hand just seems like another one of those boring Championship fixtures that we always seem to lose in the cup (I back that up with no real evidence other than my personal prejudices ). Oh fvck it, we can win em both! COME ON CITEH
