Hometown club, im disgusted by the management over recent years and will be gutted should we disapear. Dad played there (briefly) back in the day, Uncle still there every week such a very sad time.

in recent times i have donated, bought shirts, went to the preseason friendly (where they kept me as a Leicester supporter segregated from my uncle lol) and loved Rockinham Rd since i was tiny. The football league should be ashamed of allowing this to happen!

I think that KBC decision not to support the football club's plans to relocate was a bad move for the club and the town - regardless of who's in charge of the football club they should have done the right thing for the supporters (IMO).

But Ladak was asking them to fund a free ground for "his" club, wholly owned by him and his brother & mate. The locals would pay for it, Ladak would keep the profits...not the most compelling of business plans at the best of times.

I also think the Pickering's decision to double the rent was crippling but as you say, to make money is their perogative and it's not up to them to leave a legacy to the town if they don't want to - I believe they should have done but that's easy for me to say. You're right to say that Ladak's manner hasn't helped - they had been at Rockingham Road for a good long time with no problems, I hadn't thought about like that TBH.

If you talk to the Trust you'll find that they were very supportive of the Trust and the supporters but simply felt they could no longer do business with Ladak. He forced their hand by being an utter twat, something he should take up on a professional basis as it's the only thing he excels at.

I also agree that Nene Park is unsustainable - but what was the alternative (genuinely I don't know, you might)?

The rent rise at RR may have been a lot but it was still affordable, that was my solution and - if people had seen common sense before Rolls rode into town and set up a phoenix club - would now be home to a Kettering club based in Kettering. Groundsharing with another local club (Rothwell Town could have done with the income) would have worked in the short term.

And you are right, there are others who should shoulder the blame and that is everyone who voted for the move at the meeting at Wicksteed Park and everyone who voiced their opinion the club should remain at NP and welcome Rolls. They are all, to a man, gullible morons and have condemned the club to its death.

Ladak is the first and last person responsible for this.

He pissed off everyone he came into contact with. Why should the Pickerings continued giving the club low rent when the bloke in charge had pissed them off - I don't blame them one bit. And, even at £60K, it was still cheaper than Nene Park which is totally unsustainable on football alone.

No he isn't, the landlord drove the team out of the ground

They're at Nene Park now, different ground.

apparently this is FOC and they will just be asking for donations, could be good for the likes of king, waghorn and vassell to gain a bit of match sharpness
