TheUltimateWinner Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 Back in training does not equate to being match fit. I hope you were joking! Amateur mistake right there... I'm going to do a cheeky edit of my post
NeilyBoy Posted 23 March 2012 Posted 23 March 2012 I hope the hull fans don't do their intimidating 'mauled by the tigers' song. That. Is. Hilawious. I'm loving the guy at the very end with his hands on his head as if to say "what have we just done?" lol
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 My team would be Kasper Peltier Mills SSL Koncheskey Bamba Marshall Dyer Nugent Beckford Schlupp possible 4-1-2-3? I think Mills should be brought back in (many will disagree) and play Bamba in a CDM role to cover for the lack of midfielders today. 3 up top or possibly play Schlupp in a CAM role
lestajigs Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 I hope the hull fans don't do their intimidating 'mauled by the tigers' song. That is the most cringe worthy, thing I have ever seen!! Errrrrrr
Cropwellfox Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 Would love to see Byrne involved today - was doing well at Bury before nasty injury earlier this season - we won't though, it'll be something like: Kasper, SSL, bamba, Morgan, Konch , Marshall, peltier, oneofthethreedoubtfulones, dyer, beckford, nugent subs Kennedy, mills, schlupp, Howard, hopper
foxfanazer Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 I hope the hull fans don't do their intimidating 'mauled by the tigers' song. Thats is the campest song ever!
leicestercity_ Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 I think Wellens is 99% ruled out. Dannzy is captain if he passes his fitness test so that almost confirms Wellens is out.
onecapwonder Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 If we are finally giving up on the play-offs I'd love to see Bamba in midfield, he clearly thinks he's Yaya Toure so for once lets let him play like him. Also given we're playing Forrest on Tuesday I'd maybe rest a few players in positions we can. Kennedy in for Konch, Kennedy has looked impressive in all the games I've seen him play, and maybe Schlupp for one of the front two, probably Beckford, he plays more like him than Nugent. So KS; Pantsil, Morgan, SSL, Kennedy; Peltier, Bamba; Dyer, Nugent, Marshall; Schlupp/Beckford. Lining up as a 4-2-3-1, Peltier sits deep, Bamba does what he wants and Nugent plays deeper to help link up the play. It'll never happen and would probably be a disaster if the team was ever sent out like this but it'd be fun. If Danns is fit then swapping him for Peltier and having Peltier at right back would probably be the most sensible line up given the injuries. I don't think playing Bamba as a central midfielder in a 4-4-2 would be wise, I don't think he'd be disciplined enough positionally.
Tielemans63 Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 I'm hoping Millsy is back today. As rocky as we were with him in the back four - we're even worse without him!
darko2k7 Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 I think NP will go with this depending on fitness . --------------Kasper---------------- Peltier--Morgan--Ssl--Koncheskey Marshall--Danns-Drinkwater--Dyer ----------Beckford--Nugent-------- 2-1 City Danns, Beckford , Att- 23,457.
Happy Fox Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 I think we will win our next 4 games We will see it is not impossible but the likelihood of it happening is zilch. I think the key thing is finishing the season well so we have some momentum for next season provided we don't loose our key layers in the summer.
GBLCFC Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 I hope the hull fans don't do their intimidating 'mauled by the tigers' song. Never gets old

Decent side that. It'll be good to see Drinkwater play in his natural position.
sphericalfox Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 Decent side that. It'll be good to see Drinkwater play in his natural position. As it's been reported on the OS that Wellens, Drinky, and Danns are doubts, then it might scupper any chances we have of even getting a draw. Let's hope it's some sort of mind-game that NP is playing, and everyone is fit as a fiddle.

MikeyT Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 Heading off soon. Quite worried to see what midfield we put out due to injuries. Hoping Danns makes it.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 I think we will win our next 4 games bloody hope youre right but i cant see it myself, we cant even go 4 undefeated can we let alone win 4 on the trot

LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 So Jeffrey Schlupp just tweeted having a pre match meal with Moore, Moore starting?
Guppy Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 So Jeffrey Schlupp just tweeted having a pre match meal with Moore, Moore starting? Moore and Hopper both travelled to Blackpool but weren't in the squad so might not mean anything. Wouldn't be surprised to see Moore start though if Pelts is needed in midfield. More likely than Bamba IMO, didn't Pelts play cm at Huddersfield quite a bit?
LCFC BEAST Posted 24 March 2012 Posted 24 March 2012 So Jeffrey Schlupp just tweeted having a pre match meal with Moore, Moore starting? Might have Moore RB with Peltier into holding midfield or RM with Marshall playing CM?
