If you read our posts, you might see we have good points.

I know that my different opinion offends you, but I'm not sure why?

NP is not a bad manager- but hes not the right man for this particular job at this time.

Hes a joke. He keeps saying "We were poor but I'll get it right". Bullshit. How long does it take to show atleast some signs of improvement? Hes had plenty of time! Hes obsessed with the "old guard". I dont see us moving forward with him. Any manager who brings on Steve Howard time after time when we need a goal is clueless.

At the moment I'm around 45%.

I do appreciate he's got a tough job, but we've seen and heard about in-house fallings-out, our away form is quite frankly woeful right now and we haven't any consistency.

He has a massive job on in the summer, and it's not only about changing players. The mentality has to improve within the club.

Indeed. He mentions our mistakes and what we're doing wrong, but the next week its just more of the same, with no changes or anything in evidence!

Hey, that's a great point

any team which does the double over the league leaders and consistently performs well against top half teams but performs poorly to bottom half teams has an attitude problem, but does that come down to having a whole team full of the type of players they are, players who fell for someone else's dream and believed we'd walk the league with the minimum effort required and when that didn't turn out to be true lack the resolve to change that fact.

I did'nt mean a bad arse attitude ie Matt Mills supposed attitude(supposed as we don't know the truth)

I ment a squad going out thinking they are gonna walk it.

They have played up for all the big games and not turned up for the lesser games.

sack him & replace him with who ? jose ? harry ? get fvcking real ! give him a chance , how many of the recruited players would be here had pearson had the purse last summer ? certainly not the problem players , he needs at least a full transfer window & a season

Why not?

Because he couldn't get us into the play-offs with SGE's side?, that's got nothing to do with who is right for the job next year, anyone we bring in will want to modify the squad next year, so why not a manager with Championship experience, a good record at this level and with this club, someone who showed enough faith in this fan base to leave a much better positioned Hull side to come back?

Nigel isn't letting us down, some of us are letting him down, give him next year before you start calling for the owners to pull the trigger, the last thing we need to do is convince them early on in their reign that it's ok to sack managers every few months.

One player in the starting 11 was here under Pearson? Me thinks you are making stuff up.

So the likes of Gallagher, Wellens and (Howard) havent havent heavily featured this season then no?

I believe if he reviews his own performance since his return even he will admit he's underperformed and failed to get the best out of the players he's had. Despite it's weakness this team has shown that it was capable of being promoted.

In the time he's been here he's not achieved the level of consistency and team cohesion that even he I think will admit he should have done.

In his last stint here he gained the club a lot of it's lost dignity and credibility but also brought a dour some may say boring persona. This was reflected in his style of play where excitement was as a result of winning rather than how it was achieved. After the lean, rocky years even this was a breath of fresh and I for one welcomed it.

However things move on, times and expectations change and I was not in favour of his return but I also do not want to see a return to the disruptive management and the consequent player upheaval that comes with it.

I think therefore I'd go with the lesser of the two evils and give him the chance to see what he can achieve over yet another management change

My confidence in his ability to get us promoted next season is well off the 100% mark and if he does manage it I'm not expecting exciting games even if the results are but then the alternatives don't fill me with 100% confidence either.

If we do sack NP should we go the high profile manager route again?. You could argue that no top european managers would manage a second tier club, but with the clout of the Thais it may be possible who knows hey. Or we could employ a rookie manager, Lee Clark, Paulo Di Canio type?

You know what sounds better than all of those options? Nigel Pearson.

It has nothing to do with what or who's players are on the field. np,s job is to motivate the squad and apply football tactics two things he isn't capable of doing lcfc are nothing but a joke right noŵ f...king Peterborough should of been hammered today end of but wee get the same crap on and off the field

Did you have an awful accident and lose all memory of 2008, 2009 and 2010?

Posted

He deserves A LOT more patience than he is getting for his first spell here alone. If people can't back a man that did such great things first time round when he's had minimal opportunities to stamp his mark on a squad that is so clearly full of players that can't do what he expects of them, then who can they back?! It seems that unless it's O'Neill no manager is going to be given time to get things right if it doesn't happen straight away.

Give him the summer, a bit of money and see what we can do. Judge him halfway through next season. That much he deserves.

and? Things change. Maybe he has lost his touch.

He did a fabulous job then and deserves, and receives, plenty of credit for it.

But this is 2012 and a totally different job, with bigger expectations, and should be judged accordingly.

He did it at Hull too.

Form is temporary, class is permanent.

Yes hull are setting the division alight too but hey get rid of Beckford and resign fryatt

I'd like to see Beckford stay, but for everyone who criticises Fryatt, he has a better scoring rate than Beckford & his link up and general teamplay is probably better too.

Beckford is much more talented though, it's just never consistently put to good use - although same could be said for the team as a whole

I'm not saying we should but, Beckford hasn't exactly done much and after today should be moved on IMO, Fryatt is a good Championship striker, although I don't want us to get him back. I don't understand why so many people on Foxes Talk hate the players who helped get us out of League One and to 5th in the Championship but love the players who have led us to mid-table mediocrity in the Championship. Just because they are big names doesn't mean they are good players.

You can't be 100% certain on anyone, but I don't know Rome wasn't built in a day, and they certainly didn't bring in a new contractor every year to tear it down and start over.

Gallagher and Wellens both features heavily under Sven as well! And Howard has only made a few sub appearances.
